" I want to propose to Hermione." A feeling of ecstasy flooded over me. I squealed in delight.
" Ron! Oh my God! Ahhh!" I was so excited. Ron went red.
" Keep your voice down!" he hissed.
" Right, sorry. But, its just that... AHHH!!" I shouted. Ron gave me the death glare. I haddedn gotten way to excited and now someone was probably going to hear us.
" Seriously?! Now someone is going to hear us and wonder what were up to!" He whisper-shouted.
" I know, I know. I'm sorry, Ron. But your gonna propose to Hermione! I'm so excited!" I couldn't contain my enthusiasm at this point.
" Be quit, or else-" Ron started.
" What's going on here?" a familiar voice said from behind us. I turned around to see Harry, half awake, at the foot of the stairs to the boys dormitories.
" Harry! Oh, you know already! How did you not tell me?! How did you not explode?!" I whisper shouted at my boyfriend.
" Oh, Ron told you about wanting to propose?"
" Well, yeah! Why else would I be so excited?" I noticed Harry give Ron an awkward glance. I pretended not to see it.
" I don't know... I, uh, I guess I just didn't expect you to be this excited."
" How could I not be?! My two best friends are getting married!"
" Yeah, right." Harry said lamely.
" Why aren't you more excited? Aren't you happy that your best friends are getting married?"
" Of course I am! I just, I don't know, I guess the excitement went down a bit considering Ron told me two weeks ago. But, then again, I was never quite as excited as you." I rolled my eyes as Ron and Harry laughed quietly.
We all sat down near the fireplace. Harry hugged me closely. Buried deep in Harry's chest, I looked at Ron as of to say 'tell me more'.
" Well, I was thinking of doing it next week. You and Harry could distract her while I set up a nice picnic near the Forbidden Forest. I'll just tell her I want to have a date and then ask her there, at the picnic."
" That's a great idea! Hermione will love this."
" Ya, just one question Ron. Why near the Forbidden Forest?"
" Because that's where we were on our Christmas date. One of our... best dates, I guess you could say."
" Gross." harry said. I laughed. Ron went red.
" I'm just so excited!" I said.
" Me too, but it's kinda nerve wrecking." Ron said.
" Don't worry Ron, I'm sure Hermione will say yes." Harry contributed.
" I don't know.."
" Oh, come on! Hermione always plays wizard chess with you, even though you always win. And for Hermione, that's saying something." I said. They both nodded. We talked for another fifteen minutes before all going up to bed again.
I was so happy for Hermione. It was all so exciting and kinda a rush when I found out. The only problem was that I would have to wait that unbearable wait that I did with Ron's meeting, for next week when Ron would propose to Hermione. I chuckled as I realized how much waiting I did for Ron.
