Apologizing

By morning I had decided to apologize. Well, to one person at least. Ginny. I think it might actually fix my other relationships too. If I apologized to her, Hermione wouldn't have to take sides. Ron might believe that I wasn't trying to hurt Ginny, and... I actually don't know how this would fix Harry and I.

It was Sunday so we didn't have classes. I decided to find Ginny after breakfast. I walked through the halls by myself until I got to the Great Hall.

I ate my pancakes and scrambled eggs very quickly. As I took the last sip of my pumpkin juice, I saw Ginny get up and leave the Gryffindor table. She headed out and I followed.

We ended up in the library. I saw Hermione in the history section, most likely working on our essay due in two weeks. Ginny went towards the back of the library, where our librarian was. I saw Ginny come out with a book entitled Vampires: The Beginner's Guide.

She sat down at one of the tables and began to read. Nervously, I walked up to the table and sat beside her. She looked up at me with a scowl.

" Hi?" I said.

" What?!" she spat. This was weird, Ginny was usually really nice.

" Let's just cut to the chase. I know your mad, and trust me, you have every reason to be. But just hear me out.  I would never hurt you purposely! If we knew you were there, neither of us would've kissed the other. I mean, seriously. We love you! You are very important to the both of us." She gave me a weak half smile.

" Thanks. But... It's no that easy to forgive. But, you wouldn't know. Your life is going great right now."

" Trust me, it is not going great! I am not on good terms with any of my 'best friends'. And I know that I can resolve this by forgiving them, but I just can't bring myself to do it. So trust me, I know it's not easy."

" Well then, if you know it's not easy, why are you asking me to do it?"

" Well...I mean...." I sighed and came to the conclusion that this was not the way to go. " OK. I am very sorry for what I am about to say. But its the truth, and you have to face it at some point. Harry doesn't like you. And no one can change that."

" You don't know how it feels to be heartbroken! I have loved Harry since my first year! You just came in and stole him! You just.... You just don't get it!" Ginny stormed off. I stood there, astonished. I recovered and started to walk out. But a familiar voice called out to me from behind. I turned around and saw Ron.

Hey guys! Thanks for continuing to read! It means a lot to me that it has gotten over  100 reads, so thanks for that!  Sorry about not updating in a while, but I am trying to fix that. Please comment! Thanks again!
