Easter Holiday

"I don't know! Just... Just give me some time to think about this. By the end of the holidays, when we get back, that's when I'll have made my choice." I said. No one said anything, it was annoyingly quiet.

"Harry? Does this mean you forgive me?" I said. He looked at me. Then he nodded. I leapt into his chest, giving him a huge hug. Ecstasy flooded through my veins.

"Oh, Harry! Thank you!" I said as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Truth be told, I forgave you a long time ago." I chuckled. He kissed the top of my head.

Two days later I was on the train with my best friends. Harry and Ron were going to the Burrow. Hermione and I were going to our old neighborhood, Ludlow England.

The trolly witch came by and we all bought some sweets. Laughing and eating Pumpkin Pasties, Licorice Wands, Chocolate Frogs, Jelly Slugs, Peppermint Imps, Acid Pops and more was how we spent the next few hours.

"You know, Ron, my parents are going to be at King's Cross today. You could finally meet them!" Hermione said. Ron, who had been looking at a Chocolate Frog card while stuffing one in his mouth, dropped the card and let the frog fall out of his mouth as he turned to look at her. He looked alarmed.

"Huh?!"

"Well, I told my parents about you, obviously, and my mum says she is really excited to meet you."

"And your dad?" Ron asked, Vanishing the chocolate on the floor.

"My mum will be expecting you at the station." She said, ignoring Ron's question, which sent him into even more alarm. Harry and I looked at each other, both trying to stifle a laugh.

"Oh, don't sweat it, Ron. Mr. Granger will love you." I said. His expression didn't change.

"Don't worry about it, Ron." Harry said.

"Yeah, it'll be fine. Just like when Harry meets my dad. Right, Harry?" I said. His face fell as he turned to look at me. I laughed.

"Just kidding." He smiled, rolling his eyes.

"When will I meet your parents, Sweet Bottom?" a voice said. We turned to see Draco standing in the compartment doorway. Harry's hand shot to the inside of his pocket, where he kept his wand.

"Easy, Potter. I don't feel like hexing you right in front of Katie." He said. I sighed. Then got up, took his arm, and led him into the passageway.

"What, Draco? And what's with Sweet Bottom? My name is Katie, just Katie." I said once out of earshot.

"Just a nickname. I was wondering if you wanted to ditch going to Weasley's and come to my Manor instead."

"I'm not going to Ron's house. Hermione and I are going to our old town to visit her parents."

"Oh. Can I tag along?"

"No. This is just for Hermione and I. I need a break from all this boy drama."

"Sorry."

"It's fine, Draco. Now, I was going to tell you, when we get back to school, that's when I'll have my decision."

"Oh... OK."

"Yeah... Well, see you in a week." I hugged him and planted a small kiss on his cheek. He said bye and I went back to the compartment.

"I don't know what you see in him." Harry said to me as I sat down next to him.

"None of your business."

"Well, I saw that hug and kiss you gave him. I want mine." I laughed but gave him a hug anyway.

"And the kiss?" I laughed again and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Better." I rolled my eyes. He put his arm around me and I looked at him.

"In a friendly way." He said defensively, throwing his hands in the air. I smiled and said,

"Well, in that case..." and let him put his arm around me again. Hermione and Ron, who had been watching us, made kissy faces.

We spent another hour and a half talking and just hanging out. It really is the best way to spend your time.  All to soon we were at King's Cross. We got our luggage and filed out.

"Oh look! There are my parents. Come on, let's go. Hi Mum! Hi Dad!" Hermione called out to Mr. and Mrs. Granger who were standing on the other side of the platform. We all walked over, Ron looking horrified.

She gave them each a hug and then they spotted me.

"Katie? Oh my heavens! How you've grown!" Mrs. Granger said pulling me in for a hug.

"Hi, Mrs. Granger. It's nice to see you again." I said. She beamed at me. Hermione's dad also gave me a hug. They were like my second parents and I like to think that they think of me as their second daughter.

"Harry? Are you Harry Potter?" Mrs. Granger asked Harry.

"Yes. It's nice to meet you Mrs. Granger." he said.

"Oh, the pleasure is mine! And, I must say, thank you for being friends with my little Hermione." Harry smiled awkwardly as I stifled a laugh and Hermione looked absolutely horrified.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Harry." said Mr. Granger. They shook hands.

"Are you Ron?" Mr. Granger addressed Ron, who had evidently been trying to get father away.

"Uh... Yes, yes, I am." He said. Then added, "Sir." Mr. Granger eyed him suspiciously.

"You don't have to call him 'Sir', Ron." Hermione said, a bit exasperated.

"So your the guy that proposed to my daughter?"

"Uh....."

"Oh, leave the poor boy alone." Mrs. Granger said. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ron."

"Er- Right, thanks." he mumbled.

"Ron! Over here, Ron!" we heard Mrs. Weasley's voice say from behind us. She and Mr. Weasley came up to us.

"Hello, Mrs. Granger! Hello, Mr. Granger!"she said cheerily. Ron's dad also greeted them, but to Molly's disapproval, also said, "So, you got here in a car? You wouldn't happen to know exactly how those work would you?"

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley." Harry and I said.

"Harry dear! Katie!" She pulled us in for a hug.

"Well, I don't actually know how an engine works." Mr. Granger said.

"Ahh, shame. Well, I am sure you can figure it out before the next time I see you." Mr. Weasley said.

"Arthur! Leave him alone!" Mrs. Weasley scolded. "Bill and Fleur are waiting for us, so we really must be going. Good bye!"

"Goodbye!" said Hermione's parents.

"Bye Mrs. Weasley! Bye Mr. Weasley!" Hermione and I called out. Ron hugged me and said bye. He gave Hermione a stiff handshake.

Harry hugged Hermione and hugged me as well.

"Bye, Katie. See you i a week." he said.

"Bye, Harry." I couldn't help but give him a small kiss on the check. He grinned and walked away with Ron.

"Harry's winning then, huh?" Hermione asked me as we walked to the parking lot.

"Maybe." I said.
