" Katie!" I turned around. Ron was standing there looking apologetic.
" Oh, hey Ron."
" Can we sit? I need to talk to you." He gestured to a near by table. I nodded and we both sat down.
" I um... I saw that you apologized to Ginny. Thanks for that."
" Ya, I did. But I didn't do it for you. I just didn't want Ginny to be left hurt and alone. Wait- I thought you weren't talking to me."
" Ya... I am really sorry about that. I just, I went all over protective and it just kinda got away from me."
" Ya...OK." I said, wishing our awkward conversation would end. But it seemed like Ron didn't want that.
" I also saw that Ginny was being rude. I am sure... I mean, Ginny isn't usually like that... OK, what I mean to say is that Ginny is usually really nice and I'm sure she wouldn't have acted like that if she wasn't hurt and mad. I'll tell her that you and Harry mean well and all..." I giggled at how uncomfortable and nervous this was making Ron. It was funny. He went red.
" Whatever you big oaf..." I laughed. Ron laughed too. Together we walked to Herbology. We laughed and talked all the way down, like we used to. There we were greeted by Hermione.
" Hey R-" she looked at me curiously but quickly recovered and smiled once again. " Hi Ron! Hey Katie!"
" Hi." I answered. Harry had just ambled over to us.
" What's this? Some sort of family reunion?" he joked. We all laughed. In our own special and unspoken sort of way we had all forgiven each other. Things were back to normal.
