Chapter 8:

**Nelly's p.o.v.**

Half way through the first movie the doorbell rang.

" I'll get it." I said getting up.

I walked to the door and opened it.

" what do you want Brandon. " i said looking at him.

" welll, me and Ashley broke up, and i wanted to come by. I miss you Nelly, i want you back." He said getting closer.

" B-brandon. Stop. I-i have a boyfriend." I said but he didnt stop getting closer.

" LUKE !" I yell.

" come here princess" Brandon says and grabs my waist. He pulls me in and kisses me. I try to push him back but i cant. This kiss was nothing like Luke's. His was forced and rough.

" what the fu•k do you think your doing kissing my girl" Luke yells coming into the room.

" your girl? Since when was she your girl?" Brandon hissed. He let go of my waist and i slapped him across the face.

" since today. She is my girlfriend not yours, get over it. You left her 2 years ago, shes mine now. " Luke said pulling me by him. I grabbed his waist an hugged him.

" Nelly, leaving you was the biggest mistake iv ever made. Im so sorry i ever hurt you. You were the best girlfriend i have ever had. I dont know why i ever let you go. I was an idiot, i wasnt thinking. Please just give me a second chance to fix all of this " Brandon pleaded.

" im sorry Brandon. But no. You had 2 years to tell me that but you didn't. You cheated on me on our 1 year. Do you know how bad that hurt. Then you dated the girl you cheated on me with. Luke was here for me me through all my tears and depression. Luke deserves this spot more than you do. He's my boyfriend now, not you. Please leave me alone." I said to him. I dug my head into Luke's chest.

" now, we are watching a movie so please leave." Luke said.

" fine. But this isn't over " he said and closed the door.

" come on, lets go watch the movie." Luke said.

" im not in the mood to watch a movie anymore. I think im just gonna lay down.. Can you stay with me?" I say looking up at him.

" of course i will stay with you. Go on. Ill go tell everyone what happened. Ill be up there in a second." He said and i nodded.

I walked upstairs and went to my room. I changed into comfy shorts and a tank top. I crawled in bed and waited for Luke to come up.

**Luke's p.o.v.**

I walk in and everyone looked from the screen to me.

" uh, well, brandon was at the door. He tried to get her back by kissing her. He told her he missed her and was an idiot for letting her go, blah blah blah. Then he said this isnt over and left. Nelly said she doesn't feel like watching the movie anymore and that she just wanted to lay down. So she is upstairs. " i explained and everyone nodded.

" are you still gonna watch the movie ?" Louis asked.

" no, umh, she asked if i can stay with her. So im gonna head up by her. " i said.

" ok, just dont try anything. Ok?" He said and Eleanor slapped his chest.

" babe! " she said looking at Louis. " go ahead. Dont worry about Lou, he is just being a father." I smiled at her and headed upstairs.

" knock knock" i said through the almost closed door.

" come in." I heard Nelly say softly. I opened the door to see her huddled in the blankets.

I walked over to the bed and hopped on. When i got under the blankets, i opened my arms for her to come by me. She cuddled into my chest. I heard a sniffle and i looked at her.

" Nelly, why are you crying ?" I asked. She lifted her head up and looked at me with tear filled eyes.

" i just cant believe he would try to do that. What kind of person would ?" She said.

" i dont know. But what i do know is that i will be here no matter what. Im not leaving you. He was a dick. Just promise me, you aren't going to go back to him. "

" i promise." She said and kissed my cheek.

" you know you don't have to kiss my cheek." I said smirking.

" i know " she winked. What a tease.

I cupped her face and kissed her. I pulled away and she blushed. She laid her head back down on my chest.

We laid like this for a while without talking. It wasnt awkward or anything, it was kind of relaxing.

" sing to me " her small voice filled my ears. I smiled.

" of course princess" i said and though of a song to sing.
