Chapter 30:

**Nelly's p.o.v.**

We have one more week left and Ryan's still holding on. He's been getting even more weak. He can't open his eyes or move. Only to go to the bathroom or puke.

Right now we are in the middle of the concert. Its all 6 of us on stage now. We are sorta answering twitter questions and sorta not. I am currently sitting on Luke's back.

He's laid on the ground, so i sat on him. His fault.

" Nelly's, your butts vibrating." He says and everyone laughs.

Someone's calling me.

" hello?" I say answering without looking at the caller ID.

" Nelly ! Oh my god. Thank goodness you answered. I know your doing a concert right now, and im so sorry i called you in between it but its Ryan. He's close to the end the doctors said. "

I froze.

" R-Ryan?" I say. A few tears fall from my eyes.

Luke comes rushing over to me.

" Nells. Give me the phone. Ill talk to her." He says sticking out his hand.

" Nelly give me the phone." He says and i just hand it over to him.

It was like when Luke had the phone i fell to my knees and started crying my eyes out.

They all turned around and Ashton came running to me and told Luke he's got me.

" r-Ryan. He-he can't g-go." I sob.

" it's okay Nelly. We'll go home after the concert. I promise. Okay? " he says and i shook my head no.

" and why not?" He asks.

" im going home now." I say and stand up. I wipe my tears and grab Ashton's phone- since Luke is still on mine.

I call Simon and tell him we are coming home early. He said we can use his plane again and that he will call his jet driver to start it up ad to be ready to leave when we get there.

" Hunter. Im so sorry, i wish i could stay for the rest of them, but i cant. I had a lot of fun on this tour and hope we can all tour again sometime. Im gonna miss you. Oh and i put my number on your phone." I say and hug him and run away before he can say anything.

I run past Luke and grab his arm and yank him with us to the cab. All five of us fit in a small cab car all the way to the airport.

I grab my suitcases and run to the jet. The boys just try and keep up with me.

The guy opens the door and i run on. I throw my stuff in the back anywhere and go to lay down on the couch.

The boys run in panting.

" Nelly *breath* how did you *breath* get in here *breath* so fast ?" Ashton asks trying to breathe while he talks.

" i ran. Dah." I say and close my eyes.

" well so did we." Michael argues.

" mates, she can do flips as fast as we can run. That says something." Luke says and i laugh while they huff and sit down.

" we will be there in no time. I love you princess." Luke says laying next to me.

" i love you too my prince." I say and he smiles and i close my eyes again.

We make it to the hospital and i run in.

" Ryan Jones. " i say to the lady.

" room 120. " she says with a smile. I thank her and run down the hall.

Room 120.

I open the door slowly and my heart breaks.

" Ryan ?" I say and he turns his head toward me.

" Nelly" he says weakly. Amy turns her head around. Tears fill my eyes when mine lock hers.

She doesn't let go of his hand. I run to her and hug her tightly.

" this isn't fair." I say and she shakes her head no.

I walk to the other side of the bed, pull up a chair and grab his hand.

" hey buddy. How you feeling ?" I ask and he shakes his head.

" i know bud. Things will get better. " i say and i squeeze his hand. I feel a little squeeze back.

" soon you will be with daddy." Amy says and tears fall from our eyes.

" can i talk to him alone? I know you don't wanna let go of his hand and all- " she cuts me off.

" go ahead honey, its okay. " she says and stands up. She kisses his forehead and walks out of the room.

" Nelly, will mommy be mad at me?" Ryan asks me.

" why would she be mad ?" I ask.

" because im leaving her. " he says and a tear falls again.

" shes not gonna be mad at you. She knows you are trying your best and its okay to not be strong sometimes. You've been a strong little boy for a long time now. Mommy's not gonna be mad if you leave. She knows you love her. And she loves you. " i say and he lightly smiles.

" Amy ! " i yell for her to come back in.

" i love you Ryan, just always remember that. Okay buddy ?" I say.

" i love you to Nelly. " he says and i smile.

" mommy im tired." Ryan says and my heart shatters.
