" to the moon and back "

Chapter 31:

**Nelly's p.o.v.**

" no, no. Please don't go. " Amy says grabbing his hand. " i love you baby. To the moon and back. Just always remember that okay ?" She says and he nods.

" i love you to mommy." He says and my tears just all come out.

He closes his blue eyes and a minute later, the heart monitor stops.

We don't move, we stay there holding his little hands in ours, crying.

A few hours later we are still where we were. We haven't moved one bit.

" we should go home. You look exhausted. This isn't good for you." Amy says looking at me.

" i dont wanna leave him." I say still looking at him.

" i dont either Hun, but we have to leave sometime. " she says and i nod.

I kiss his cold little forehead and finally let go of his hand. I walk towards the door and wait for her.

" i love you baby. To the moon and back." She says and kisses his forehead. She kisses his small bald head and turns to me.

She comes over to me. We hug and stay like that for a minute or two. I grab her hand and interlock our fingers.

We walk outside and there is flashing lights everywhere.

" stay here, ill go get the car." I say and she nods. I run to the car and hop in. I quickly drive to the front and pick up Amy.

" just drop me off at my house. My mom will come over so im not alone. Ill call you tomorrow but if i dont, just come over. Okay ?" Amy says looking over at me.

" okay, i was gonna come over tomorrow anyway." I say and she laughs.

We don't say anything the rest of the way home. All you can hear is our soft sobs and sniffling.

We get to her house and she sits in the car for a moment.

" thank you.. For everything. It really means a lot to me." She said turning her body so she is facing me.

" it's no problem. If you need anything Amy, i mean anything. Call me or text me. If you want a girls day out or something, text me. Okay ?" I say and she nods.

" I'll see you tomorrow Nelly. " she says and hugs me.

" okay, I'll be over at noon and then maybe we can go out for lunch if you' d like." I say and she nods.

" good bye sweetie." She says getting out of the car.

" good bye Amy !" I say and she closes the door. I watch her as she opens the front door and walks inside.

Once she closes the front door, i pull out of the drive way and drive home.

" mum, dad ! Im home !" I yell as i walk through the door.

" honey ! I missed yo- have you been crying ?! " mum says running up to me.

" yeah... Ryan, he umh," i get choked up on my words.

" oh honey. Come here." She says and pulls me into a bear hug. I start sobbing even more.

" what's wrong?! Who's hur- NELLY !" Dad yells running to us.

" what happened baby girl ?" He asked when i pulled away from mum.

" honey. Ryan died this morning. " mum explained for me.

" oh Nelly. Im sorry." He said and pulled me into a hug.

" it's ok, i think im just gonna go take a nap. Im going over to Amy's house tomorrow. If you guys want to come with me you can. " i say and they just nod.

" im sorry im not spending time with you guys. " i say.

" it's okay honey. We know how hard it must be for you right now. Especially Amy. Just go take a nap. Me and you father will go pick up Rosie from Lilah and Harrys house then we will make dinner. Do you want us to invite everyone over ?" Mum asked and i thought about it for a moment.

" yeah, that'd be great. I have a question though. " i say and mum nods.

" are you guys and Niall still not talking? Also, is Niall and Julia still dating ?" I ask and dad answers this time.

" no, they aren't dating. 3 months ago he realized how much she was changing him and he wouldn't let anyone over or wouldn't go anywhere for 2 months. We are talking but i still dont forgive him for what he did. Do you still want me to invite him over ?" He explained.

" yeah, sure. Its fine if you do." I say and he nods.

" well, im gonna go sleep now." I say and head up the stairs.

" okay, goodnight Nelly." Mum says and i wave behind me.

I walk into my room, change into sweats and a tank and hop in bed.

What's up? Okay, im gonna be realllly busy this week because i have to bring my English grade up, and i have to make me and my friends Halloween costumes for Thursday.

Im gonna try and update again this week, but i make no promises. If i dont update this week, i promise i will update 2 or 3 times next week. Okay ? 😁

Anywhooo, what are you guys being for Halloween ? Me and my friend are being cave women. We were gonna go as pebbles and bam bam, but that didnt work out, so now we are cave women... Oh welll, candy a candy. You still get someee(: 😁👌☺

Oh i might not make more of this series after this book ends. If i do, it will be about just Nelly and Luke and how they grow up together. Tell me if i should or not okay ?
