Chapter 12:

**Luke's p.o.v.**

Me, Louis and Harry are still laughing about Nelly flying in the air. We reach their house and Louis opens the door.

I walked in and heard crying.

" that doesn't sound like Rosie crying. Do you think we took it too far?" Louis asked looking at us.

" i didn't think so. Lets go up there." I said and they nodded. Harry closed the door and we walked upstairs.

" Nelly, shh, its ok. We will find them. Please stop crying, i hate to see you upset!" I heard Ashton's voice come from Rosie's room. Why is he here?

" w-what i-if we c-antt " i heard Nellys small, quiet voice stutter.

I opened the door and saw Nelly on the ground in a ball crying her eyes out and Ashton trying to comfort her.

I ran to her. " Nelly! Whats wrong?! What happened ?!" I asked. She just started crying even more.

I picked her up and pulled her into my chest. I caressed her hair trying to calm her down.

" what happened ?" I mouth Ashton.

" i dont know " he mouthed back. I sighed and pulled her closer.

Soon, i didn't hear anymore sniffles. I picked her up and brought her to her room. I laid her down on her bed and tucked her in. I kissed her forehead and left to go downstairs.

" Ashton, what all do you know?" I asked looking at him. He was sitting in the couch playing with his fingers. Louis was sitting by him on his phone. Harry on the other hand, had his head in his hands.

" i was coming here looking for you, because you know, i was bored. I was walked toward the door when i heard a scream from inside. I ran inside and heard more screams. I swear that girl has a scream. I ran upstairs and heard her crying. Wait no. More like hyperventilating. I found her in Rosie's closet in the corner. When i asked her what happened she never answered. Then, she pointed to a note on the floor, probably because she dropped it. It was in red ink with sloppy hand writing. It said ' your next ' i didn't know what to do so i trying to comfort her the best i could. Then you guys came home. " he explained.

" your next? What is that saposta mean?" Louis said looking up. Realization hits his face like a ton of brick. " El and Rosie !" He screamed.

" Lou, calm down. You don't know that" Harry said standing up.

Nelly ran down the stairs and to Lou.

" daddy!" she yelled hugging him. Just kidding, thats an understatement, squeezing is more like it.

**Louis' p.o.v.**

" daddy !" Nelly yelled running bear hugging me. She hasn't called me ' daddy ' for a while, only when she wants something.

" baby girl, can you tell me what happened?" I asked sitting her down.

" i came home and i called for mom. Then no one answered. Moms keys, purse and shoes were still here. I went upstairs and yelled their names again only to be greeted by no one again. I went into Rosie's room and looked around i saw a note in there and i read it. I screamed and started crying. I heard the door fly open so i screamed again, not knowing it was Ashton. I ran to the closet and hid. Ashton then found me. I showed him the note and yeah, " she finished awkwardly. A few tears left her eyes but just kept explaining.

" we will wait and see if they come back by morning. If they don't then we will bring the police and Paul into this. Tomorrow, i will try calling her cell to see if she has it ok. We better get some sleep. " i said while holding her. She nodded and walked upstairs.

" I'll be back bright and early tomorrow. Ok?" Luke says and Harry nods in agreement.

" ok, see you guys then. Ashton if you want to come over, you can. Im gonna have all the other guys here too. You can bring the other two too. " i say an he nods.

" bye!" Ashton and Harry say and walk out.

" im gonna go tell her goodnight. " Luke says and runs up the stairs.

**Nelly's p.o.v.**

I walk upstairs and change into sweats and Luke's big sweatshirt. I walk out of the bathroom and see Luke in my bedroom doorway.

" im just coming to say goodnight. Ill be back bright and early in the morning. Probably before you wake up. Dont worry about waking up early for me. Ill just come in here. Ok? Just try and sleep for me. It will all be ok." He says and walks over to me.

" goodnight. Ill see you tomorrow. I love you Luke." I say and hug him. He was so warm, i didn't want to let go.

" goodnight princess, i love you too." He says and kisses me. I let go and go lay down in bed. He came over to me and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes and the lights turned off. My door closed indicating he left.

I sighed and tried to fall asleep. I heard my door open again. Its probably dad. I pretended to be asleep.

" goodnight baby girl." He said and kissed my forehead. Then i heard footsteps and the door close.

I focused hard on falling asleep.

After moving around for a half hour, trying to fall asleep. I gave up. I just cant sleep. I get out of bed and walk to dads room. I open the door slowly and see him cuddled in the blankets, sleeping peacefully.

" daddd" i whispered.

" hmm"

" i cant sleep. Can i sleep with you ?" I asked walking closer.

" mm hmm" he said and picked up the blankets. I slid under and scooted toward him.

" come here baby girl. Its ok," he said pulling me closer.

" will you sing for me ?" I asked and he nodded.

" you are my sunshine, my only sunshine.

You make me happy, when sky's are gray.

But you don't know dear, how much i love you.

Please don't take my sunshine away."

" i love you baby girl" he whispers.

" i love you too dad" and with that i closed my eyes and fell asleep.
