Chapter 25:

**Nelly's p.o.v.**

*2 weeks later*

Today is my birthday and i still haven't gotten a text or call from Luke. We have been a bit distant this past week.

Niall, well i haven't said a word to him yet. When he is over he keeps trying to talk to me but i just run away from him and go to dad. He always looks at me too. I dont trust him near me, and i dont forgive him. Him and Julia broke up a few days ago too. She dumped him because he wasnt ' acting the same '.

In the past two weeks, i have been party planing, hanging out with the lads, had a mommy and Nelly day, had a daddy and Nelly day, and hung out with Ryan. He is still holding on strong.

I hop out of bed and check the clock.

3:36pm.

I haven't left my bed all day except for going to go eat. Dad decided to get me a bunch of dove chocolate and a bunch of movies. So, iv been pigging out.

Luke told me he was going to fly out and come to my party with the others. He even promised me.

" Nelly ! Get dressed ! We are going shopping then we will take you to the party, okay ?" Perrie yelled up to me.

" ok ! Let me take a shower quick !" I yell back.

I hop off my bed and run to the bathroom. I quickly shower and hop out.

I run to my closet and try and find a good outfit i can wear to the mall and to a party.

My eyes land on the perfect outfit. I grab it and run to the bathroom to change. I stripped out of my old clothes and put on my new ones.

I stepped out and went to my closet again. I grabbed my shoes and went to my jewelry. I grabbed some that would match then went back into the bathroom.

I blow-dried my hair and then put it in loose bouncy curls. I went out to my vanity and put on a little make up.

I looked in my floor length mirror and studied my outfit. I had on a light green/minty colored flowy skirt, an off white blouse that is tucked into the skirt, a gold necklace, a black ad gold belt around my waist and vans the same color as my shirt.

" are you done yet ?" Dani yells up the stairs.

" yeah ! " i yell back. I grab my phone and head downstairs.

I see the girls standing there with smiles on their faces. A smile forms on my lips and i hug them all.

" where is Rosie gonna be while we have the party ?" I ask.

" she will be at Ryan's house. Dont worry. " Lilah answered and i nodded.

" well look at my beautiful baby girl." I heard dad say from behind me.

" why thank you dad." I say and hug him.

" me and your mom have a different birthday present for you. You can get it tomorrow since you know, the party is tonight ad you have no time.." His voice trails off and i laugh.

" ok, ok. And i thought i told you guys i didn't want presents ! " i say and they all laugh.

" well, to late noww." Perrie says laughing.

We get to the mall and the girls all want me to go in like every store. I get a few shirts, pants, yogas, crop tops, sweaters, shoes and jewelry.

Once we finish, we have a total of like 15 bags. That is all their faults, so they all get to carry them. Im so nice, aren't i.

" ready to party Nelly ?" Mom asks turning around in her seat.

" sure. I just cant wait to see Luke. " i say and they all ' awe '.

What? I haven't seen him in like 2 weeks, usually i would see him every day and i would wake up to him laying next to me. Now i wake up to coldness and an empty bed.

We turned the corner and you can see colorful lights flashing and can hear the loud music playing. Dad said he didn't want it at our house so this time it is somewhere else. Dont ask where, because i have no idea.

My heart started racing and my smile wouldn't go away. I can tell you this, im pretty excited but also nervous. I have never been around this many people before, well in like a group of them.

We get out of the car and walk into the building. So many people were already here, dancing and drinking.

" there's the birthday girl ! " i hear Harry yell into the microphone.

Oh lord. Tonight is gonna be fun.

I walk around and start looking for Luke or one of the others.

I spot Ashton and run over to him.

" Ashton !" I yell and he turns around and smiles at me.

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY NELLY !" He yells and engulfs me into a hug. I laugh and hug him back.

" is Luke here ?" I ask and he sakes his head no.

Luke didnt come ?

" w-what ? Why ?" I ask starting to panic. He shrugs his shoulders and gives me a sympathetic smile. I weakly smile back and walk away.

People stop me and say happy birthday and ask me how iv been. I kept looking back at the door as the time past.

Dad and mom would come up to me and have me dance but it wasn't the same. It about 10 and it started at 5. He still hasn't came. He promised me.

I see Ashton, Calum, and Michael walk toward me and a tear slips from my eyes. I run past them and run to the bathroom. I lock the door and cry.

He promised me he would be here.

" Nelly, open the door. Please." I head Ashton say through the door. I wipe my tears and look in the mirror. I fixed my make up quickly and opened the door.

Once i did, Ashton grabbed me and held me in his arms.

" he promised me." I whispered.
