**Nelly's p.o.v.**

We are three months and 2 weeks into the tour. We only have 2 weeks left.

Amy, Ryan's mom's name popped up on the screen.

" hi !" I said when i answered.

" hello Nelly." I could tell by her voice that something was wrong.

" Amy, whats wrong? What happened. Please tell me Ryan's still holding on." I say panicking.

" Nells, were at the hospital. He's getting more and more weak. Chemo's not doing anything. " she says and my eyes fill with tears.

" can i see him ?" I say quietly. She nods and turns the laptop so now i can see both of them.

" Ryan, Nellys on Skype. " Amy says and Ryan slowly opens his eyes.

" hi Ryan. Hows my little army guy ?" I say and he smiles lightly.

" i feel like poo." He says quietly.

" it's okay Ryan. I promise ill be back soon. I have two more weeks. Do you think you can hold on that long ? " i ask and he nods.

" Ryan, i love you little guy. Stay strong for me okay ?" I say and he nods again.

" i *cough* love you *cough* too Nelly." He struggles to say and my heart breaks.

" don't worry. Im coming back. " i say and he smiles.

" promise ?" He asks and i stick out my pinky.

" i promise. " i say and he sticks out his. We pretend to lock pinkies and we both laugh, which leads to him coughing.

" Amy, keep me updated. Call or text me everyday. I will leave this tour early to come back. Okay? Just remember that. " i say sternly to her.

" okay. I will Nelly. Everyday. Just like everyday. Pray. Pray. Pray. " she says and a tear slips from my eye.

" every morning, every night, everyday, forever. Stay strong. Im here for you. " i say and she weakly smiles.

" who ya talking to ?" Luke asks, walking into our hotel room.

" Amy and Ryan." I say and he comes behind me and sits on the bed.

" hello love ! Hey Ryan !" He says to the laptop.

" hello Luke." Amy says with a smile.

" hi Luke !" Ryan says quietly.

" hows it going buddy ?" He says wrapping his arms around my waist.

" i wanna go home." He says and ten coughs.

" i know dude. We will come home soon. We can't wait to see you. " he says and we all smile.

" okay. " Ryan says smiling.

" butttt, we gotta go guys. We have sound check in 5 minutes." He said looking at me.

" oh my god. I totally forgot about it. I got the call from Amy and i just kept talking. I hope they don't mind we might be like 10 minutes late. Oh wellllll." I say and Amy laughs.

" okay. Good bye sweetie. Good bye Luke." Amy says.

" bye Amy, bye Ryan. Stay strong you two. I love you guys." I say and Luke nods.

" we love you too." They say and we wave good bye and hang up.

I put my head in my hands and tears form as tears from in my eyes.

" come 'ere " Luke said and pulled me into his chest. He stoked my hair, calming me down. " everything's going to be okay. "

" but what if its not." I say into his shirt.

" i dont know babe, just always remember, he will always know you love him. Also, you will always know he loves you too. We just have to stay strong for now and pray for the best okay? " i nod.

" okay, now lets go to sound check before they kick our buts. " he says trying to lighten up the mood. I weakly laugh at his attempt.

" can i have a piggy back ride ?" I ask and he looks at me. " pleaseeee " i put on my best puppy face iv got.

" not the pupppy face. " he whines. He looks at me again and turns around so i can jump on his back.

" Yayy !" I yell and hop on.

" your such a kid." He mumbles.

" but you love me anyway." I say and he laughs.

" yes i doo." He says and i blush.

" i love you too Luke ." I say and we take off to go to sound check.
