Chapter 10:

**Nelly's p.o.v.**

" Nelly ! Nelly !" I heard someone yelling. I shot right up, breathing heavily.

" are you ok? You were screaming in your sleep. " Luke said looking at me with worry filled in his eyes.

" i think. I dont even remember what i was dreaming about. " i said still breathing heavily.

Mom and dad rushed into my room with the same worry face as Luke.

" Nelly ! Are you ok? We heard screaming ." Mom said out of breathe.

" yeah, im fine. I dont know what happened." I said looking them in the eyes.

" ok, umh, since its 4am, try and get some more sleep. Ok baby girl?" Dad says kissing my forehead. I nodded and laid back down.

" babe, shes been waking up screaming like that since you and the boys left. Rosie never heard her but i always did. I dont think we should leave her alone anymore." I heard mom say as i walked down the stairs.

" el, its night mares. Everyone is going to have them." Dad said. I stopped and tried listening.

" i know, but it has been every single night since you guys left. Remember, you guys just came back. Honey, i had to go into her room at midnight and stay in there with her every night. Its beginning to scare me."

" we can talk to her later, she is probably still sleeping." Dad said and then they stopped talking.

I was about to turn to run back up and i ran into Luke.

" were you spying on your parents?" He asked smirking.

" what? No. I was walking down the stairs when i heard them talking about me. I mean, i didn't want to interrupt, also. I wanted to know what they were saying." I shrugged.

He chuckle at me. " come on, lets go eat. Then, we are going to the city. Remember?" He said an i nodded. I ran down the stairs and to the kitchen.

I began to get the pancake mix when Luke stopped me. " im making it, go sit." He said pointing to my chair.

" no ! I wanna cook !" I said pouting.

" last time you cooked with me in the house, you almost burnt down the house, i would rather that not happen again." He said chuckling. I sat down and pouted.

" you look beautiful love" Luke said as i walked downstairs. We were going to the city but he wouldn't tell me why.

I was wearing dark wash skinny jeans, a white blouse and a navy blue cardigan with red flats. I had a red necklace and a match bracelet. I took a few strands of hair from the front and pinned it back with a red bobby pin.

" why thank you. " i said and he smirked.

" shall we ?" He asked sticking out his arm for me to grab.

" we shall." I said and laughed.

" why do you have a guitar?" I asked looking at him. Wait, where did it come from anyway. We just walked out of Starbucks too!

" that's for me to know and for you to find out." He said and smirked.

He started strumming to my favorite song- love somebody.

" sing." He said and i did as i was told.

I looked up and saw i drew a crowd, a big one to be exact.

" lets hear it for my girlfriend Nelly!" Luke yelled and the cheering got even louder.

" now do you believe me that you should go on the X-Factor ?" He whispered in my ear, looking at everyone.

I nodded my head, not believing any of this.
