But it was then that a big black truck rammed into the driver's side of the car hitting Aunt Heather and Hendrix.

Everything seemed to happen in slow motion to my eyes even though it happened in a matter of about five minutes.  The air bags deployed and hit Aunt Heather and me in the face pushing us back into the seats.  Jadan was knocked into the window causing it to shatter and dig into the side of her head making blood pour down her face.  Hendrix's whole left side became crushed into the door as the metal of the car bended around him.  Aunt Heather was showered with shattered shards of glass from the front window shield, her window, and the black truck's passenger side window.  She also didn't have her seat belt on which caused her body to bend awkwardly and hit her face onto the steering wheel breaking her nose.  The head rest of her seat broke off, and one of the metal legs impaled the back of her neck.  Her car spun around in circles skittering off the road until we collided head on into a tree causing me to hit my head on the dash board.  I couldn't hear anything at all, but I could tell that Jadan and I were screaming.

The time we spent there seemed so short as ambulances, police cars, and a medical helicopter came to help us.  People were swarming the area bringing tools to get us out the mangled car.  Aunt Heather was the first one taken out, and I noticed she wasn't moving at all.  They brought her to the helicopter and loaded her up before it took off towards the hospital.  Hendrix was taken out next and loaded up on a stretcher in the first ambulance.  Jadan was next, and she was talking to the EMTs trying to explain something to them.  As they took me out last, they tried to talk to me, but I couldn't hear them.

"I can't hear anything," I say as loud as I can not knowing if they could hear me.  Their eyes widened as they nodded and said things to other as they tied me to the stretcher.  Out the corner of my eye, I could see the driver and passenger from the truck being loaded into ambulances as well.

The ride to the hospital was a bumpy one filled with the EMTs trying to asses how much damage my body had before we got there.  They spent the most time on my ears trying to figure out why I couldn't hear and if it could be fixed.

As we got into the hospital, I saw Gwendolyn, TeX, Jevan, and Niklaus in the waiting room.  I think I was the first one to arrive because of their reactions.  They all jumped up and ran over talking to them trying to figure out what happened.  Gwendolyn burst into tears and came over to kiss my forehead before stepping back and letting them take me away.

I was wheeled around the corner with the nurses moving people out of the way and opening doors for me to go to what I think was where they perform surgeries.  A mask was placed on my mouth and nose so that the gas would knock me out for the surgery.  We moved through countless double doors and hallways that I became dizzy.  My eyes were becoming heavy, and they drooped downwards even though I struggled to keep them open.

Once we turned the last corner, I saw a stretcher slowly being dragged through that had a body bag around the body ready to be zipped up.  I looked over turning my head to see my Aunt Heather laying there dead and lifeless.  She looked so pale and horrible with glass and dried blood covering her body.

"Aunt Heather!" I screamed out as loud as I could with tears streaming down my face.  All the wires they had on my body had their monitors going crazy.  The nurses and doctors crowded around me trying to control what was going on before I arrived for my surgery.  "AUNT HEATHER!" I cried out before my vision went black, and I lost all feeling in my body.
