So, I am bringing a chapter to all you lovely people.
(Harlie's pov)
"Do you think we should leave this outhouse and finish the level," I ask Sky.
"I guess we shou-," Sky is cut off by everything shaking.
This was an earthquake, a real earthquake. Sky and I instantly dropped the controllers. The adrenaline kicked in and I pulled Lucy under the coffee table with me as Sky hurried to under the desk. Lucy may be an annoying creep but I was ready to cover her if needed. Luckily I didn't have to Cover her and the vibrations stopped within seven minutes. We all knew it may start again and stayed where we were.
"Are you both alright?" I ask.
"I'm fine," Lucy whispers obviously afraid.
"A bit freaked out is all," Sky states.
"Okay we should wait until it is obviously over," I explain.
"Kids open the door, please!" mom shouted from outside.
Lucy ran to the door despite my warning of waiting. My mom didn't look like she'd just been through an awful seven minute earthquake. Nothing outside looked like it had. What was going on?
"What are you doing under the coffee table and desk?" she asked us.
"Didn't you feel the Earthquake?" Lucy asked very confused.
"There wasn't an earthquake darling, it must have been your imagination. Now I'd like you setting the table for dinner in ten minutes," she stated.
We all looked at each other in confusion. There was an Earthquake, we felt it. Once our mom left the room we looked around. Some pictures and papers were on the ground. Maybe it was just on our land. Where was our dog?
"Where's Lily?" I asked.
"let's look," Sky tried to remain calm.
The house was a mess, but mom would just think we did it. So we cleaned as we searched. It didn't take long to find her, we just had to follow the whimpering. She was hiding under Sam's bed who was at soccer practice. Being a brittany which is a medium sized dog breed a bit on smaller side actually, she could easily fit under the low bed.
"Come on Lily it's alright. Okay let's check the yard," I state.
"Good idea," Lucy nods.
Outside looked fairly normal apart from some fallen trees. The normalness stopped there though, we could hear crying from the woods.
"Maybe it's a witch," Sky laughed bringing some humor to the situation.
"Let's go see," I decide.
As we got closer we could see the scene clearly. Two girls that looked about our age sat on a log. One older and one younger. The younger one appeared to be comforting the older one who had pink hair and tinted blue skin. These girls were obviously not normal. Sky was running towards them the second she saw them.
"Emma! Emma! Emma!" she was shouting.
The girls turned the younger one looked kind of normal. She had black hair that was shaggy and a mess covering a lot of her face and reaching her shoulders. (Like Chips little brothers's hair) Though she had golden eyes that made her seem a lot less normal.
"Sky," the blue and pink girl asked.
"Yes. What's going on?" she asked.
"Well Sparrow and I were just living the normal awful life when the world started shaking and we were teleported here," Emma tried to explain.
"Well let's figure this out. First we need to go to our thinking log," Sky smiled. (Blues clues reference)
"Who are these people?" she asked.
"This is my best friend and sort of sister I guess Harlie and her little sister Lucy, I'm Sky," Sky explained to Sparrow and Emma, "oh yeah and this is our dog Lily."
"Well I'm Emma and this is Sparrow she's twelve, two years younger than me,
So this is my chapter. I made you do math, mwa ha ha!!! Not as funny as Chips's chapter but whatever.
