Harlie's Pov
It was dark. I admit I am a little afraid of the dark. I stuck pretty close to Sky I trusted she could protect me. At one point she ran into something and said some words that in the magic world are well not good words to say so I won't repeat them. I knew that was something we would not mention.
Soon enough we came to a door that led to stair case that wasn't in the best shape. It was very, very destroyed. With much struggle in the dark we got to the top. As Sky pushed the door lightly it feel back. To the location we fell from roughly. It didn't take long to find Magnus but Jordan had gotten lost some how.
Soon we came to where the building didn't look so abandoned. There were video cameras. We noticed them a little late. It didn't take long before we heard a lot of heavy footsteps. We were quickly surrounded by men with guns. Well what a great situation we got into. Wonder where Jordan went?
No one talked so it was Sky's job obviously.
"So will you be saying something or will this awkward silence last forever?" Sky asked.
"You ended the silence yourself Sky," Dr. Enemy spoke in a harsh tone.
"Let Sparrow and Emma go!" Magnus yelled.
"Afraid I can't do that," he smirked.
"We'll just get them out ourselves then," Sky said in a very scary voice.
"You are surrounded by loaded guns," he smiled.
"You do not know how capable we are," Magnus growled.
I stayed quiet I was afraid.
"Or perhaps I am more capable than you know," he smirked again.
Magnus' Pov
"Magnus I am about to start the attack, Sky and Harlie are ready, are you?" Jordan asked in thoughts.
"Yes," I answered in thoughts.
"Okay attack!" his thought was quite loud.
I was surprised how well we did. I knocked most of the guards out with magic. Sky used magic as well as her fists. Jordan knocked the rest out with magic. Though a problem occurred.
Dr. Enemy got hold of Harlie. He had a gun to her head. We all froze. Our magic wasn't fast enough to stop a bullet. The fear in her eyes was so strong. Not one of us dared make a sound.
"Now, that's much better," he smiled evilly.
He had one arm around her and one holding the gun to her head. She was so terrified.
"Please," Sky begged.
She begged. But I understand. Her best friend, her sister, her Harlie was in danger. The danger was so immense that she begged. She could not lose Harlie. We could not lose Harlie.
We lost Harlie. He shot. Not at her head at her stomach. Either way she fell. She wasn't breathing. Her heart wasn't beating. Her blood was spilt. She was gone.
Sky screamed. Dr. Enemy fell as he was shot by Sky's magic. He writhed in pain and then went still. He too was gone. He though deserved it.
Silence that was all there was. Then sobs.
Jordan found Emma and Sparrow. They were saved but at a cost. A great cost.
Why did I do this. She was the character I made. Chips is so going to kill me.
