Sparrow didn't come home till 7:00, in fact she hasn't really been home for weeks. I decided to investigate. I followed her the second the bell rang for the end of the school day. She ran out to the forest near our house, I followed with out her noticing. I walked behind her until I stepped on a twig. I quickly dived behind a tree, she spun around. "Magnus?" She calls out. I'm guessing that's why she's been out a lot, to meet this 'magnus' fellow. She continued to walk when she realized no one was there. I followed her until she stopped at a log and sat down. A boy with bright green eyes appeared shortly after she sat down. I spring at the boy, no older then sparrow, and tackle him down.

"Who are you?" I question pulling out my knife. "I'm Magnus, now get off of me you human" he says calmly. "Yah.. No can do." I grin pressing my knife into his throat, knowing it will leave a red line across his throat. "What do you want? Money?" He spits at me. "If I did I wouldn't go hunting for money in the forest" I smile. "We could work out a deal? I can teach you things" he states very calm. I looked over my shoulder to make sure sparrow was still frozen in place like a made her be. "What exactly are you?" I ask. "If I told you that I'd have to kill you" he grins. "I'll take my chances" I shrug. "I'm a wizard" he grins looking like he's waiting for me to faint. "Ok...so?" I ask. "So, I could easily kill you" he states. "Ohh you wanna go?" I stand up. "Bring it" he laughs standing up also. I get ready to pounce on him when I hear a voice. "Stop!" Sparrow yells. "Awww..but-" I whine "no buts, this is my friend, Magnus, magnus, this is sky" she says. "That's an ugly name" magnus scoffs. "Not as ugly as your face" I scoff. "Ok guys no fighting" sparrow says staring at me. "No deal" Magnus and I say at the same time. "Let's just go home" I state trying to drag her home "why?" She whines. "Because if we don't I'll go all crazy uncle on you" I yell.

We are greeted by harlie and Emma as we enter the house. "What happened?" Harlie asks. I know that if I tell her the truth she'll stop sparrow from hanging out with the totally creepy stranger that lives in the woods. She's very old school like that. "So I followed spar to where she's been going to all the time, and it turns out that she was taking care of a wolf pup who had lost its mom, and she didn't want us to find out" I lie. Spar hugs me, knowing also, that if I told the truth she would be in big trouble. "Aaaawwwww!!!! Wolf pup!!!" Emma shrieks so loud that she shatters three light bulbs. "Uhhh....ok then, who wants to play video games?" I ask.
