"You know it was Emma, right?" Aurora asked as we walked to her house, which was rather close.

"Of course I know," I smiled.

 "How do you know?" she asks.

 "When we were in the other realms she did the same thing. Also Sky would never use something as basic as a knife. She'd use an axe, a staple gun, a cheese grater or something like that," I explain.

 "Do you think we could scare Emma so bad she'd never want to be near me again?" she questions me.

 "That's a good idea!" I exclaim.

 "So what is she afraid of?" 

"I've got the perfect idea."

 "Let's plan the plan, then."

We talked of the plan all the way to her house. Everything was perfect. This would scare Emma so bad she'd never want to be near Aurora.

My mind was off of that though. I was thinking about the impression I'd make on Aurora's family. I hoped they would like me.

As we walked down her driveway A boy of about ten or eleven ran towards us. I noticed a younger boy trailing behind, he seemed nervous.

 The older boy had brown hair like Aurora but he had very light blue eyes instead. The younger one had curly white hair, completely white like a blank canvas. His eyes were peculiar too. One was brown like Aurora's and the other very light blue. The older one had skin that looked like a normal kid who spends most of their time outside. The younger one had extremely pale skin.

The older one seemed to be full of energy and very social. The younger one seemed quiet and nervous. They seemed to be opposites.

 "I'm River and this is Forrest," The older boy introduced them both.

 "Nice to meet you," I gave a small smile.

 They had different styles too. River wore a t shirt and jeans, as well as nothing on his feet. Forrest wore a much too big long sleeved forest green shirt and leggings with rain boots. Both had a good sense of style. 

"You too. Come on let's go eat dinner," River nodded.

Their mom, dad and sister were already sitting at the table. The baby was asleep in her crib. 

 Their mom had white hair and very light blue eyes. Their dad had brown hair and brown eyes. Lilac had white hair and brown eyes. 

 I have to say my favourite so far would be Forrest.

"So you're Aurora's best friend," her mom smiles.

 "Yep," I reply.

 "Forrest please eat some peas," his mom says.

 "But they taste awful," he whispers.

 "Have some green beans then," she gives another option.

"Okay," he responds quietly.

"Can I have a cupcake instead?" River asks.

 "No," she denies his request.

 "Why not?" he whines.

 "Because veggies and sweets are different," she states.

"But...." he tries to think of another reason why he should get a cupcake.

"No," she states.

 "Fine," he mutters.

 "Lilac?" Forrest tries to get her attention.

 "What is it?" Lilac smiles.

"Can we look at the stars tonight?" he whispers.

 "Of course we can," she smiles.

 "Can Sparrow stay over and we can look at the stars too?" Aurora asks.

 "As long as her parents say she can," her dad says.

"Well the family I'm staying with." I murmur.

 "Are they dead?" River asks.

 "You don't ask if someone's parents are dead," Lilac exclaims.

 "They are," I state.

 Emma thinks they're still alive, but they aren't. I saw a witch kill them. Emma didn't see it. They're gone. My mom and dad. 

 My mom had long, straight, black hair and blue eyes. My dad had blue hair and golden eyes. They were such loving happy parents. I miss them.

 I feel warm tears run down my cheeks. I haven't cried about it. I didn't want Emma to know. I guess she deserves to know. I feel a small hand grab my hand.

 Next to me stood little Forrest. He just looked into my eyes.

 " It's sad but lives end. Sometimes too soon. But at least you are here. The dead can't do anything, but the alive can make the world better. Life is for living not acting like the dead. I bet your parents were great, since you're great," Forrest whispered.

 "You are an amazing person Forrest," I smiled.

 Suddenly Lilac burst into tears and ran up the stairs.

 "Our sister, her twin drowned two years ago. It's especially hard on her," Aurora explains.

Harlie's mom let me stay over. 

At two am Lilac, Aurora, Forrest and I lay in the grass. We stared at the stars. Lilac pointed out constellations. We spoke of many things.

 It turns out their mom is magical. They all had at least one ability. Lilac could breath and see underwater perfectly. Forrest  could make plants grow and remember everything he'd ever seen. River could  run and climb insanely well. Very cool.

 Lily, Lilac's twin had slipped on the rocks near the edge of the river and fallen in. Her head hit a rock and she drowned. It's very sad.

 Forrest is a very wise kid. He also happens to be a genius. 

 I love their family.  (A family she will one day be part of. Also know as her and Aurora are falling in love)

The plan would take action tomorrow after school. This will be hilarious.
