"Sky, why are you carrying a watermelon?" I ask out of confusion.
"Is it illegal to carry watermelon?"
"How would I know?"
"You're right, you're too stupid."
"I mean because I'm from the realms."
"Yeah, right."
"Why do you have the watermelon?"
"It's a special tradition."
"What's the tradition?"
"The tradition is that you have to give you're cousin's future lover's family a watermelon."
"You're kidding me right?"
"No, haven't you learned anything about this?"
"So I have to give a watermelon to Jordan's family?"
"You jerk! I'll kill you!"
So then I was chased to Aurora's house. River and Forrest may or may not have had to save me. Eventually the potential murderer calmed down.
"Can I eat the whole watermelon?" River asked very seriously.
"No," Lilac stated.
"Why not?"
"Because you are adopted."
"Um, no I'm not."
"Fine you aren't adopted. Let's just eat."
"You gave up fast," Sky laughed.
"I don't care." Lilac muttered.
"Come on I'm hungry!" River screamed.
"You trying to make me deaf you loser," Sky glared at him.
"Yes," he grinned.
"I'll kill you!" Sky chases him.
Too bad for Sky she doesn't have very, very enhanced speed. She lost him in fifteen seconds. In the end the potential murder did not happen, that day.
"Forrest you should eat some watermelon," Sky smiles.
Forrest has oddly seemed to win her over. He's just that adorable!
"If he eats watermelon he'll have one grow in his stomach," Lilac explains.
"You know that's a myth?" Sky asks.
"Not for Forrest," Lilac states.
"Really?" Sky asks.
"Well he can't control plant growth if it's in his body," Lilac says.
"So he can't eat watermelon? That's sad," SKy murmurs.
