"Aww!! Look at the pretty Kitty!!" Ace gushes when you enter your fourth class. He comes over petting you cheerfully. A purr escapes you and you blush trying to move away while he chuckles happily.

"S-Stop..." You manage blushing and purring while he rubs behind your ears.

"That's the cutest little thing!!" Your Basics101 teacher, Shanks gushes coming over and petting you as well.

"N-No... Stop!" You whine purring and blushing more. They just gush in response until you're moved from their grasp and placed on someone's shoulder.

"That's enough, she said stop, now get to your seats." The orange haired student scolds them, keeping you on his shoulder. The duo pout but obediently take their seats. You blink in surprise since Shanks was letting himself be ordered around by a student.

He moves you off his shoulder and sets you down. "Are you okay?" He asks, blue eyes reflecting some concern.

"Yeah I'm okay, just overwhelmed..." You admit with a shaky smile. You weren't used to so much attention, now it was making you uneasy.

"It's okay, you can sit in the back with me, just relax." He smiles softly at you. You blush and nod following him to the back and sitting next to him. You glance around finding Ace still pouting at you. You giggle and look away at that.

Shanks sighs slightly pouty and gets up. "Hello students...." He sighs. The student beside you huffs and shakes his head.

"This man..." He sighs and peers at you while you frown at the sheer sadness in Shanks' voice. "Don't fall for it...." He whispers.

"But he sounds so sad..." You murmur.

"Don't..." He says again. You look between him and Shanks who was carrying on with sighs and pouting.

"I can't.." You get up and go to the front, offering Shanks your head. He suddenly lights up grinning and petting you happily. The class sweatdrops at that and you let yourself purr, glancing at the orange haired student in shame. He just offers a smile.

You were sure you'd be stuck as Shanks' personal pet until the door to the classroom opened and you look over, paling when Mihawk raises an eyebrow at you. You look down, ears dropping helplessly as Shanks continues petting you cheerfully, unaware of the other wizard.

Mihawk comes over, gingerly moving you away from Shanks' hand who pauses and looks over, smiling nervously Mihawk. "Hi Hawkeyes!" He greets. Mihawk frowns at him, glaring steadily at him.

"He guilt tripped didn't he?" He guesses glancing at you. You pout and look down too ashamed to respond. He glares more at Shanks at that. "Don't make students feel bad." He scolds smacking the red head with a book.

"Ow! I didn't mean to! She just came in looking adorable!" Shanks whines as Mihawk continues to hit him obviously annoyed.

"And I'm sure I don't have to point out that he caused this. Do not embarrass her further or else." He warns. Shanks whines pouting.

"Fine... Why are you here anyway?" Shanks huffs grumpy.

"I'm taking ___." Mihawk says simply.

"What? But you have her in your class later! Don't take her during mine!" Shanks objects.

"Too bad, I'm throwing her in the dungeon." Mihawk responds. The whole class becomes still at that. You raise an eyebrow at him. Shanks shifts becoming serious.

"It's her first school day..." The red head says.

"I'm well aware. But I cannot ignore my own curiosity much longer." Mihawk replies calmly.

"Not alone Mihawk..." Shanks bargains.

"Very well, who do you wish to go in with her?" Mihawk questions. Shanks peers around the room.

"Ace." He answers. Ace comes over at that.

"Alright, let's get going." Ace nods, giving you a curious look and smile.

"Indeed." Mihawk starts for the door with Ace close behind. Shanks grabs your forearm gently.

"You don't have to go if you don't want to." He breathes.

"I'm not here to hide from challenges Shanks." You offer a calm smile. He frowns unsure and hands you a potion.

"Good luck then."

You give a nod before hurrying after Mihawk and Ace. Falling in step next to Ace you relax following Mihawk. "Wow you're really calm." Ace pokes your cheek lightly. You blink and giggle lightly.

"I'm just curious really, never been through a dungeon... Well except..." You phase out.

*Flashback*

"Daddy? Daddy?" You call looking around the darkness. You had followed him into the dark place and now you didn't know where to go. Lost.

"You shouldn't be so loud in this place young one." The platinum haired man says beside you makes you pause and look up and over.

"Oh hi mister ghost. Do you know where my daddy went?" You tilt your head. Of course he was here, he's always there when there's danger.

"I do but you can't follow him there, it's too dangerous." He says kneeling beside you.

"But Mr Ghost, you said I'm strong." You remind him. He blinks his odd red eyes and smiles.

"Alright ___, you're right. Remember what I taught you? You can use it now, just hold up your arm." He instructs softly. You do as he says, focusing.

"Fire shot!" You squeak feeling a magic surge shoot up your arm. You look up as the fire ball shoots up. You grin and look at the ghost. He nods his approval.

"You're a natural." He smiles.

"___? ___!!" Your father's gasp makes you look over as he scoops you up, holding you close and tight. "W-What are you doing here!?"

"I followed you daddy!" You chime. He looks you over for injuries, pausing as ashes drift down around both of you. You both look up and he let's out a breath gaping at the hole in the canopy far above both of you.

"Did.... Did you do that?" He asks. You nod grinning. "Wh-where did you learn that?" He questions.

"Mr.Ghost taught me!" You answer happily. Little did you know those words would change your life.

*Flashback End*

"Hey," Ace waves a hand in front of your face. "You okay?" He asks tilting his head. You blink at him, offering a smile.

"Yeah I'm fine." You assure.

"Good, because we're here." Mihawk stops in front of a large mossy door. "This is a forest dungeon. There are many beasts within. All dangerous and lethal. I want you to bring me the head of the spider queen ___." He looks into your eyes. "It's okay if you fail, I will step in if--"

"With all do respect. If you believe I can do this, don't you dare come to save me." You interrupt holding out the potion to him. "And I won't be needing this."

"That's cocky ___," Ace says.

"It's not cockiness, it's confidence backed up." You respond as Mihawk takes the vile, smiling in approval.

"You're right, sorry if I offended you." He says.

"Don't worry sir, now let me get started please." You nod to him. He returns the nod and opens the doors.

"Take as much time as you need."

"I'll see you when our class starts." You smirk. Ace grins at that.

"I think I like your spunk." He rumbles.

"Heh, try to keep up Pyro Mage."

"You'll be the one asking me to wait up.
