I looked at her but she's not breathing anymore. So I hugged her so tight and cried. I've lost her...

Halos kulay pula na rin ang half part ng white gown niya sa dugo at natigilan ako nang marinig ang maliit na iyak. A crying baby. Hinanap ko yun at nang makita ko siya sa tabi ni Peres ay napangiti ako. Is she our child?

Nag-appear sa tabi ko si Marcus at kinuha niya yung baby.

"What a sturdy child..." he muttered then I heard the baby chuckled. "How on earth she survived? " inalis niya ang coat niya at ibinalot sa baby saka kinuha.

I glanced at the dead body of Peres lying beside me and I smiled when I saw her lips move and formed a little curve. But as the sun goes below the horizon, she dissolved slowly into ashes while the wind blew it away. I heard something she whispered to me after her body fully gone.

'Take care of our child... I'll look after you. '

"I'll take care of her. " I muttered.

After hearing her voice, my tears slowly fell down. She's gone. She already left this world. And I believe she's with her Mom now... in Elysium.

I stood up and reached my child from Marcus. She's smiling at me and extended her arm to touch my face. With her intense gray eyes, I can see her greatness and power. She will be a fighter. A fearsome woman when she grow up.

"She likes you." mahinang sabi ni Marcus habang nakasmile sa baby na hawak ko. "What's her name? "

Silence. And then all of a sudden something clicked in my mind.

"Comoařa. " I'm not good in giving name but... she smiled and winked. Does it mean she liked it?

"Not bad. " then he tapped me on my shoulder. "Congrats. You're a father. "

"Yeah. "

Until now, I still didn't know how Comoařa survived. She's just two months when Peres died and how on earth she went out from her mother's womb?

It's been two years after that and I tried to live like a mortal with my daughter in Scotland. I watched her standing along the seashore watching the sunrise with Marcus beside her. He often visit Comoařa here and they spend time together. He's a good Uncle.

"I knew it. " Marcus snapped and I looked at him. "Mali si grandma. Ang totoo, halos five months na niyang dala yun kahit hindi obvious. And ang normal na paglilabor ng mga gods is five months. That's why she survived. "

I calculated the month when we made love together. It's almost a month before the war and three months after. The time went fast and I didn't know a month had passed when I've lost my memories. Pero ang hindi malinaw sa akin ay kung paano lumabas ang anak namin. Ni hindi ko nga alam na naglilabor na din pala si Peres nung araw na namatay siya.

"She executed shadow travel. " napakunot ang noo ko pero natawa siya. "Believe me. She's special and there's nothing wrong if she can shadow travel even from her mother's womb. Or pwedeng nagawa niya yun dahil nagkaroon sila ni Peres ng connection. Nothing's impossible for us, Throy. We can do anything. Everything we want to even if we're just a day old. "

It's almost fifteen years and today is the coldest season of the year. Tumira kami sa bahay ni Marcus sa itaas ng Hill na kaming tatlo lang. I didn't forbid her not to go to city but she really don't want to go there. She likes hunting somewhere in the forest and it's not bad at all. Pumupunta din siya sa camp at marami naman siyang campers na nakakasundo. But she's not very attentive. Madalas na hindi niya pinapansin ang mga walang kwentang bagay like? Trouble.

Pinagmasdan namin ang ginagawa niya sa labas mula sa malaking bintana. Inaim niya ang arrow niya sa ere saka ito binitiwan. Hindi namin makita ni Marcus kung ano ang target niya pero nagulat na lang kami nang may bumagsak sa lupa na binalot ng snow. A ptarmigan. Tagos sa dibdib nito ang arrow niya at binalot na ng dugo nito ang position niya.

Comoařa is a good archer. And even in a long distance she can reach her target. I'm the one who made her weapon. And I made it so special. She told me that she likes that weapon when she was three, so I gave it to her when she reached five. I want her to enjoy her younger years so she did. She enjoyed it by hunting. So much weird. But what can I do? It's one of the things she enjoyed doing the most. She always wear white with a white coat over and she's going to be mad if something stained it.

"Why are you watching me? " she appeared behind us kaya nilingon namin siya.

"We didn't. " sagot ni Marcus.

"You did. " nag-evolve ang golden bow niya into bracelet at ang arrows ay naging isa bago nag-evolve into hairclip at napunta sa buhok niyang nakaponytail. Then she disappeared.

Binalik namin ni Marcus ang atensyon sa labas ng bintana at bigla siyang nagtanong.

"Anyway, why did you named her 'Comoařa '?"

"Comoařa is not really a name. It means..."

Silence.

Silence.

Silence .

"... treasure. " she's the only treasure I have to keep. She's the only one who's left to me.

Hades didn't tried to find us. Besides... he stayed in his Kingdom and never went above after his daughter died. Olympians stopped communicating with mortals to lessen the possibility of increasing the number of demigods. And they forbid demigods not to associate with mortals as much as possible.

Remembering Peres makes me stronger, though sometimes I feel bad for losing her. She's the one who took out the bad things happened in my past. I didn't know how did she do that. All I know I was happy with her. She's the Goddess of Destruction but she didn't ruined anything. She constructed the ruin relationship between Olympians and Demigods. She's not a Hero, but she saved me from death. We've met for a reason. And she died for a reason...

And perhaps, this is how she ended up her...

Journey.
