First day on the job.

I couldn't brake them apart just waiting in the bedroom, sure I couldn't do it in one day but still. They did have a nice bedroom though and it looks like they sleep together... Looks like Ivy might have a different agenda to Harley, the closer she got to Harley the harder it will be to make her leave.

I crept down the stairs Skylar in my arms. It took me a while to navigate my way to the kitchen. I was not expecting this. Harley had Ivy pinned to the kitchen side. Wait she was going in for a kiss edging closer and closer ... But she said she only saw Ivy as a friend. I thought red head over there was the only one making moves. I quickly snapped out of it, I couldn't let this happen if Harley fell for Ivy she would never go back to The Joker, that means I won't get paid! Think quick Phoebe think Quick!!!

Skylar was getting restless in my arms. That's it... I immediately put Skylar on the floor, she ran towards Harley on all fours as I hid around the corner still able to see the scene. Skylar repeatedly rubbed against Harley's bruised leg. This seemed to work better than planned, Harley's eyes shot open and she moved back from Ivy's lips. Eventually she let go of Ivy and picked up Skylar, the sudden movement caused Ivy's eyes to bolt open and swell with tears which she quickly suppressed. Oh well.

"Hey there Skylar." Harley smiled down at Sklyar as Ivy pushed away from the kitchen side, she quickly crossed her arms over her chest and clenched her jaw.

" Oh that's where you ran of toooo! " I came around the corner and Ivy glared at me hatred clearly building up inside of her... "Sorry guys. Hope she didn't interrupt your conversation" I pulled a tight smile at Harley. I had to make it seem believable that I was being attacked by 'random' men when they found me, can't just go round smiling my head off. Of course those guys had to ruff me up a bit but they were in on the plan, Joker's goons every single one of them, they clearly made it look believable so no arguments here.

" Nope but I have good news!" at this I saw Ivy's head move at lighting speed towards Harley with frustrated eyes. "Me and Red decided you can stay with us till your better!" Okay. There's a time limit, guess I gotta work fast.

"Thank you so much" I hopped over to Harley and held my arms out. Harley joined in and wrapped her arms around me. "Both of you." I gazed at Ivy. She didn't try to fake happiness or well anything the only thing I could read was that she hated me and well that was definitely real.

As I gazed at Ivy I decided to speed things up a bit. I made sure my hand was flush against Harley's back, once I was positive I started. I channelled my heat to Harley, she almost melted into my arms... She could feel my energy at the moment only comforting her but I could make her feel what ever I wanted with my ability.

Well you see my parents worked at a nuclear fusion power plant... Well that wasn't the smartest Idea ever. One day the reactor was malfunctioning, the alarm was blaring but I had to go in for my parents it was just suppose to be a day at the office nothing dramatic just paper work. I was racing around looking for my parents then it all went black, the next thing I knew I was on the floor next to what used to be the reactor, there was only a huge gaping creator... My parents were gone. I don't know what happened exactly to give me my powers but I'm glad I have them. My powers allowed me to rapidly heat anything including my own body, fire no longer affects me, I can make myself a human flame if I wanted to... Sure it weakens me but hey it's pretty worth it. Right now I was heating up Harley's entire body slightly, so she relaxed and felt safe. I never broke eye contact with Ivy, she saw Harley warm up to me and it made her blood boil, I didn't even need to use my powers with her. Finally the embrace ended as I pulled away. Harley smiled and turned to the kitchen side where she had pinned Ivy.

"It's okay Harley. I can cook if you want to get some rest or anything... Maybe I could get to know..." Great she wanted me to stay of course she did this way I couldn't make any more moves on Harley ...

"Oh... My name is Phoebe." Yeah and don't forget it, you better watch yourself fire can burn you and you precious little plants.

"Okay... So if u want I can get to know Phoebe whilst you relax" She spoke quickly and looked into Harley's eyes the whole time.

"Ya sure Red?"

"Of course."

Harley left taking Skylar with her. As soon as Harley was upstairs Ivy bolted towards me. Who the hell did she think she was!

"Listen here and listen good kid. You hurt Harley and I will break ever bone in your body, she's been through enough without you using her trusting side to manipulate her. I know your game." she kept edging closer and closer like it was threatening, really it was just seductive because of her constantly husky voice. Maybe I could use this jealousy against her, but seriously if she gets any closer I'm gonna have to kiss her or burn her I couldn't care less about her but it might be fun to mess with her. She got closer and I had enough, I grabbed her arms and quickly pushed her against the wall she was holding me against seconds before. I could feel her struggle and fight under my hands. Now it's my turn.

"NO! You listen here and listen good. I don't know what your problem is with me. Oh wait maybe your jealous..." she looked me dead in the eyes, her envy filled eyes darkened and she stopped struggling. "I've seen the way you look at her... I have also seen how she looks at you, I have to say the odds don't seem to be in your favour, but the way she looks at me. Well I bet you have seen that for yourself..." I moved closer to her pressing our body's together I could fell her... Well her cold skin against my heat. I looked her in the eyes again. " the way she looks at me... " I got closer. "the way she held me..." closer. " the way she... Trusts me. " I moved in so close to her lips that I could feel her heavy breathing on my face. " she wants to kiss me..." with this I poured my heat into her body, would it make her blood boil or would she fall in love with me... Well I guess I would just have to wait and see....this was taking to long I pressed my lips against hers and concealed a gasp that escaped her mouth as our lips connected.
