Snapbacks and Leather Jackets

*Chapter 6*

"Shay! You have ice cream all over your face!" Jessica screamed in my ear.

"Jess, I know! Ugh!" I wiped the ice cream off of my face with a napkin off of the table.

"Ugh, Justin you are so gonna pay!"

Justin laughed and started to slowly back away. "Nah. You gotta catch me first!" He started to run away, but before he got far away from me I grabbed Jessica's ice cream cone and threw it at his head.

"Ha! Got you!" I screamed while laughing at the same time. Jessica was rolling on the floor laughing, literally. Justin laughed and wiped off his head and neck with a napkin.

"Good aim, Shay." He said dragging the A in my name.

"GET OUT OF MY SHOP WITH ALL THIS MESS!" A red head woman shouted at us angrily with a Russian accent. We giggled and ran out the ice cream parlor.

"Wow! I never got kicked out of a place before." I stopped laughing and held my stomach.

Jessica put a hand on my left shoulder and Justin put his arm around my neck. "Well you need to let loose." Justin said as he squeezed my side with his other hand.

Jessica giggled, "That's true. She really doesn't do anything fun. She always ditches out when I want to go to college parties."

I rolled my eyes at the two dorks on the side of me. "Yeah well I-"

"Save it Shay. Didn't we tell you we're gonna make you have some fun tonight?" Justin said as he winked at me, opening his car door for me. Jess got in the back and I was in the passenger seat.

"Well yeah."

Jessica leaned in and smirked at Justin and I. "Well let this night begin."

Flashback (At the party)

"Damn, she was good."

My eyes widen and I couldn't believe it! I hid behind Justin and watched Jason walk down the stairs in disbelief. My heart sunk.

Yes, I liked Jason.

Justin turned and looked at me, "I'm sorry Shay. I know you liked him."

I shook my head, "No need to be sorry, it wasn't your fault. And yeah, I liked him."

Justin grabbed my hand and we went downstairs looking for Jess.

We saw her by the punch bowl, looking at this dude who was spiking the punch.

"Jess..." I said softly. She must have heard cause she turned around and saw my face and gasped.

"What's wrong? Who tried to make a move on you? Was it him!?" She pointed to Justin.

"N-No."

"Relax, we're friends again, and no it's not that."

"Oh." She looked at Justin and I smiling. "Oh. Okay. Well, want to get out of here? This party is boring. The only thing that is exciting me is that dude spiking the drink."

"Lame!" Justin said and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Hmmm.... I want ice cream. Justin take us to go get ice cream."

Justin smiled and looked at me, "You want ice cream too?" I smiled. "Yeah. Leggo!" I giggled and Justin led me to the door with Jess following close behind. Jason was leaning by the door and my heart stopped once again. Geez.

I put my head down so he won't see me, but obviously it didn't work cause I felt a hand touch my arm, and Justin stopped walking which caused me to crash in the back of him.

"Ow...what?" I looked up and saw Jason. He smirked at me but it suddenly turned into a frown.

"Where're you going?" He eyes, they were so brown. I'm a sucker for brown eyes.

"Um...well actually-"

"She's going with us." Justin stepped in front of me. Jess stood beside Justin checking out Jason. Typical Jess.

"Why would she want to go with you? She's mine for tonight." What the hell?

Justin tensed up a bit but before anything could happen, I pulled Justin away and shook my head at Jason. I dragged Justin outside and Jessica hurried right behind us. We walked up to Justin's car and stopped.

"Son of a bitch. Who do he think he is?" Justin was still angry.

"J-Justin." That's all it took for him to calm down and look at me with concerned eyes. "Sorry." He shook it off and looked between Jess and I.

"So.....ice cream?" Jess nodded her head. "Yeah, and I think we need to teach our friend here how to have some fun." She looked at me.

"Yeah agreed. She's too much of a goody two shoes." Justin nodded and we got in the car.

On the way there Justin and Jess were saying how they were gonna teach me 'how to live' and gave me a lecture on how 'life's too short' and you gotta 'live everyday like it's your last'. I started thinking about and I agreed. I should start living and stop holding back because being a 'goody two shoes' is pretty boring. I need some excitement in my life. So they decided that tonight we were gonna 'live'.

Back to Shay's P.O.V.

I giggled thinking about what just happened in the ice cream parlor. I told Jess about what happened at the party, we started telling funny stories, Justin started a ice cream fight, and we got kicked out the place.

"How about we go to Walmart?" I was confused. "Why?"

"Because! Walmart is fun at night!" I rolled my eyes. "Okay?"

I looked at Justin. "Sure, I guess?" Jess looked at me and nodded. "Okay, it's final. Drive is to Wally World Mr. Bieber!"

Justin and I laughed at Jess. This is going to be a long night.
