The room was sprayed with lights when Jess woke. She had left her blinds open. Groggily, she stood up and closed them. She then walked back to bed, prepared to sleep more when her phone buzzed. Looking down, the text had come from Shawn.

Snapping awake, Jess grabbed her phone and read the message. It said, "Hey, hope you slept well. Sorry, if I woke you. I am going to send you a picture of a certain code which on the date of the concert, you can show people that work there so they will allow you in. Your seats will in be the first row of the orchestra A or second section closest to the stage. The meet and greets begin at 4:00, so you can come at 1:00 to hang if you want. I hope you like the seats! :)"

Shawn got Jess fifth row seats! There were four rows in the pit, so her row would be fifth! That was insane, as the tickets would be FREE. AND, Shawn wanted her to come earlier so they could hang out.

Jess texted back "That is awesome! Thank you so much! I would love to come earlier. How can I repay you, you know that this is a little over the top. What did I ever do for you to make you be so nice?"

"You have just been you. You made me feel more than just a mess-up after the concert. That made me feel amazing. I don't think I have ever felt the way, ever, after any performance. I always mess up or my voice cracks, or I just don't think I did well. But not after you talked to me. I felt like a super-star."

"That is because you are a super-star Shawn."

Jess could feel Shawn laughing at her text, even though he was almost an hour away from her.

"Hey, I have a day off today to look around the city and what-not. Could you meet me somewhere? Maybe we can hang out or something."

Jess thought her head was going to explode. First he said she was beautiful, then he asked to see her, then he asked for her number, said he loved her, gave her free tickets and now is asking to hang out. Jess didn't understand what was so amazing about herself to make him like her so much.

"Yeah, I can meet you. Where?" Jess wrote, pressing the send button with her hand shaking.

"Um, how about central park?"

"That works. I'll meet you there around one, sound good?"

"Yeah, totally. I can't wait!"

Jess put down her phone and stood up. Today was going to be a good day.
