"I would totally come!"

"Totally!"

"YAAASSSS!"

"I love you SOOOO much!"

"IM COMING!"

These types of comments filled Jess's phone screen. Shawn peered over her shoulder.

"Told ya people would come." he whispered into her ear, sending chills down her spine. Jess smiled. She couldn't believe people actually said they would come to a concert of her's! HER'S!!!!!

"Ok, maybe you were right. But where would I do one?"

"Isn't there like a Rec Center somewhere around here with a stage and bleachers?"

"Yeah...maybe I could rent it out. But first, I need to ask my mom." Jess dialed her mother's number.

Conversation:

J: Hey mom! I was wondering if I can maybe preform in front of people at like a concert or something. We can rent out the Rec Center or something."

M: You want to preform?!"

J: Yeah! It is actually kind of fun to sing and people love me on youtube. Shawn also thinks its a good idea.

M: What about you? Do you think it is a good idea?!"

J: Yeah. I mean yes, I do.

M: Ok. We can work things out then. Lets talk about it more when you get home.

J: Ok! Thanks, bye, love you!"

Jess hung up and squealed. "IM GONNA DO A CONCERT!!!!!!" She stood up and started bouncing as high as she could on the trampoline. Shawn stood up and held her hands, jumping with her. Somehow, they jumped at the same time, so no one person went flying. It was like they fit together, perfectly.

Sometime later, the couple got off the trampoline and Jess rode her bike back home. Home was no longer her sanctuary, the place where she could hide in her room, reading or writing a book and slip into an alternate reality. Now, life was like an alternate reality. The place where she felt the most safe, the most comfortable, the most relaxed, was in Shawn's arms. Or holding his hand. Or just being next to him. He was her ultimate safe haven.

The ride home was smooth, as not many cars were on the rode on a temperature-wise, cool Monday night during the summer in New York. All Jess could think about was that moment she had with Shawn. What is happening to me? It is like I am becoming addicted to...to Shawn. Not like I wasn't before we met but still. Now it is just, multiplying. My chills, their multiplying. And I'm loosing control. Jess laughed at herself while she thought. She couldn't say or think one sentence without saying a word or phrase that reminded her of song lyrics. Tonight, it happened to be some song from Grease. All the way home she sang the song, trying to distract herself from thinking too much about Shawn. They never actually talked about what happened. Or did anything even happen at all. To Jess, it felt like their relationship took a sharp turn towards serious town. But maybe to him, it was nothing. After all, Shawn was a famous pop star who had girlfriends before her. The feeling of his lips touching hers. Her hands brushing his bare chest. Their bodies compacted together, like they were one. But the layers of clothing that still separated them. That was the only thing that kept her from losing her freaking mind.

Pulling into her driveway, Jess got off her bike and walked inside. Her mom was on the couch watching TV and she sat next to her.

"Hey."
