The audience was filled with mostly young girls, probably from age 9 to 16. A few looked older than Jess, but many of them were younger. Then there were a few boys around her age that she didn't know. They looked just as happy to see her on stage as the girls did. True fanboys. Jess liked it. Everyone cheered as she walked to take her spot behind the microphone. She spotted her friends and some family who drove to see her perform. What surprised Jess the most were the number of people there. She had expected like 75, but there were over 200 people in the crowd. The bleachers were completely filled and some people even sat on the floor in front of them.

Jess saw a group of girls who made signs saying her name a few of them who somehow printed her name on a shirt. She couldn't believe how much they seemed to love her. Some girl was crying and screaming at the same time. Jess smiled and held the mic.

"Um hi guys!"

"HI JESS!" everyone screamed back at her.

"Thanks for coming, just...wow. I can't believe there are so many of you here. I can't even explain how much this means to me and how much I appreciate you guys. I love each and everyone of you so much. I hope you enjoy the next hour!"

Jess gulped and took a breather. Show time.

"You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty." Jess sang, watching her fans sing along. After Sorry, she sang Hello, Hotline Bling, and Something Big. After those three songs, she paused for a moment to catch her breath and take it all in. While she did this, she spotted someone that brought a big smile to her face. Leaning on the door frame of a door right up against the bleachers where they could not be seen by anyone but her, was Shawn. He gave her thumbs up and smiled like an angel.

"Ok guys, I am going to sing Let It Go. Not the one from Frozen, the one by James Bay." The crowd laughed. Jess was no longer scared or nervous. She could tell that the audience only cared that she sang and was herself. That was what they were there for. And Shawn was there. So she sang her heart out.

An hour went by and Jess was down to her last song. Stitches.

"I thought that I've been hurt before, but no ones ever left me quite this sore. Your words cut deeper then a knife, now I need someone to breath me back to life. Gotta feeling that I'm going under, but I know that I'll make it out alive. If I quit calling you my lover and move on. You watch me...!" Soon, Jess finished that song too. She thanked everyone for coming and was about to walk off the stage when she saw a little girl looking up at her from the first row. Jess could hear her saying something to her mother. It was the little girl she heard before.

Jess hopped down from the stage and stood next to the girl, Katie. "Hi Katie!"

The girl gasped. "You know my name?!"

"Yeah, I do. Do you want a picture with me?"

"Yeah!" The girl grabbed her little I pod and turned on the camera. Jess leaned down and she took the photo. "Thank you so much!! I love you!" The girl gave Jess a deathly tight hug then ran off the her mom. Jess got back on the stage and walked backstage. It felt so nice knowing that she made someone's day. Her friends were there, waiting for her. Jaime ran up to her.

"YOU DID AMAZING!!!! AAAHHHH!" All of her friends grouped around her and did a giant hug. When they let go, they all complimented her on how great she did. Once all of her friends finally shut up, Jess saw the person that had made her smile beforehand. She ran up to them, jumping and spinning in their arms. Wrapping her arms around their neck, Jess brought her face to Shawn's and kissed him. It was short and sweet and soon their heads parted. They laughed.

"You did it cupcake! I knew you would, I knew it! You did awesome!"

"I guess I did." Shawn shook his head and pecked her lips once again. All of Jess's friends had turned away, laughing and tried to give them a moment. But they kept peaking and seeing what was going on.

Shawn put Jess down and her family came up to greet her. By now, they all knew Shawn and were cool with their relationship. Later that night, when Jess and her mom were back home, her mom was putting stuff in the car for her work trip. She was going to be across the country for the next week in California.

"Ok honey, I stocked up on food and clothes so you have everything you need. If you do need something, call Jaime or Maddy or oh! How about Karen, yeah call her if you need anything. Ok, I need to scram so I love you and stay safe and don't get hurt-"

"MOM, I will be fine! Go, don't miss your flight. I love you!" Jess practically had to push her mom out the door. She knew she felt bad leaving her daughter right after her first concert, but she had to do what she had to do. Jess on the other hand was fine and planning to go over to Shawn's house. Minutes after her mom's car left, Shawn's pulled in. Jess grabbed her backpack with her phone, guitar, house keys and some other random stuff and hopped in the car.

"Heyo baby." Shawn said happily. In the past, Jess didn't like Shawn calling her that, but she had warmed up to it.

"Hi." Midway through the drive, Jess finally broke. She couldn't just keep being with Shawn and not talking about what happened between them. "Hey, are we ever going to talk about what happened?"

Shawn looked at her seriously. "Um, if you want to."

"What did happen?"

"We kissed for a little while. I mean, that was kind of it."

"But what does that mean for us? Is this what normal couples do? Because I was never in any relationship before you and have no idea what we are supposed to do."

"It means we love each other. And we already knew that. We are not supposed to do anything. We do what we want, when we want. Why is this bothering you so much? Do you no want to do that again because even though I kind of enjoyed it, if you don't want to we won't."

"No! Its not that I don't want to, its that I feel like we shouldn't. Aren't we too young?"

"We are not too young for anything." Shawn continued to drive, looking only at the rode and not Jess. His face looked tight.

"For some reason, I feel like we can't."

Shawn slammed his fist onto the car and pulled to the side, parking in an empty lot. "Why are you saying we can't?! Because we can! We can do anything we want, ok!" Shawn screamed at Jess, his face turning red. That was the first time he ever yelled at her, angry. Then he breathed heavily in anger and unbuckled his seat belt. He leaned over and kissed Jess really hard and angrily, right on her mouth. He climbed over the little controls and compartment space in the middle of the car, still not letting go of her. Now, they were in the same seat, Shawn practically on top of her. Jess just sat there in shock, not sure what she should do. Was Shawn going to hurt her, force her to go further. Or was he just kissing her to kiss her? She had no idea.

At first, the kiss was tough and strong. Their lips collided at the speed of light. But then it softened and Shawn started to calm down. He loosened his grip on Jess and started to just kiss her the way he usually did. The anger slipped away and was replaced with passion. It was tight in one seat and their bodies had no room to part. It was also uncomfortable being in such an awkward position. So Jess fumbled for the switch that would allow the seat to lean back and they could crawl to the back seats. Finally, she found it and they made their way to the second row of seats with more room. There, they could lay out without anything interfering. Jess lay with Shawn right next to her, her back pressed hard against the seat. She was breathing hard and panicking on the inside. Everything was happening so fast, she wasn't sure she could handle it. But still she went on, kissing the guy of her dreams.

Shawn's lips were soft and warm, comforting to Jess. Then his shirt came off. But she knew that they weren't going to go any further. She was not sure how, but she just did. Nothing was better than this. Absolutely nothing. And to top it off, they had all the time in the world. All  the time in the world.
