Some time later I hear his voice, then his hands shaking me.
"River... River..."

I snap out of my trance, then cut my eyes at him.
"What?"

"I think we need to inventory your supplies.... It's better to know what we have, then make a supply list."

"You're right, let's get started. I need to hit Walmart, before the nights over."
I nod and stand up, then walk to the sunroom where we'd set everything.

"Wait... You're not going at this alone... Who knows what the fuck is up there..."
He follows behind me and grabs my arm, turning me around.

"Yes I fucking am... I can do this alone, I just need you to provide cover from the car."
I pick up my notebook, then start doing inventory, picking up everything and inspecting it then writing it down.

"Latest supply count."

"Holy shit River, is all you've been doing is scavenging?"
Trey looks at me in bewilderment at everything I have.

"No, part of this was luck, but the other part was intelligence. I knew where to go and got there first, kind of like what we have to do with Walmart."
I look at him and raise my eyebrow.
"We need more ammo, guns, lighter fluid, knives, and bags. That's not included all the other stuff I have to grab."

"Ok, so I'm guessing you have a plan..."
He looks at me.

"No, not really. I have goals and nothing will stop me from getting them, but we are at kind of a disadvantage....."
I chew on my lip, as I think about the problems with hitting Walmart.

"Ok and what disadvantage would that be?"

"I have a suppressor.... If I have to take down an infected, they probably won't hear me... You on the other hand will have a unsuppressed gun, so it'll echo and they'll swarm you."

"Ok, but that's saying there's even infected there."
He picks up an empty mag, then begins loading it.

"Also, from now on we call them infected, zombies is too childish..... But, where's the best place to find slow, uncoordinated people?.... Walmart."

He laughs a little, then nods realizing I'm right.
"Ok, so how are we gonna take care of that?"

"Even though it'd be faster if we split up, we have to be careful and stay together. We'll make a list, then we go in through the mechanic section. I'll cover while you grab everything, when one bag's full you hand it to me and fill another..."

"I thought you said you didn't have a plan.."
He looks up at me, slightly confused.

"I didn't, but now I do.....
We have to stay completely silent, or we'll be dealing with a shitstorm."
I pick up an empty mag, then start loading it.
