The Alpha Omega.

Clean Up.

We climb back into the car, after getting the Betas situated.

"Where to now?"
I hear Jake say, then hop in front.
"Shotgun."

"Seriously?"
Rachel laughs and climbs in the back.

"Had to claim it."
He says and gets comfortable, before keeping watch.

"I don't know.... Do you think we should check out Union City?"
I ask and look at them.

"Shouldn't we scout out anymore packs around here?"
Rachel says and leans back.

"Yeah... Let's see what we're dealing with at home."
Jake says back.

"Ok, let's go driving around town.... I don't see the use in hiding."
I say and pull out, before doing a u-turn and heading back towards Martin.
"Passenger always has watch.
Backseat is always ready."
I say and look at them.

"Got it."
Rachel says and holds a rifle.

"Sounds good."
Jake scans the trees.

"We have to be ready for anything.."
I say and speed up, then swerve as I see the spike strip.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!!"
Jake and Rachel yell.

I stop the car sideways in the road, before jumping out and opening Rachel's door. Jake follows through my door and crouches beside me.

"What the hell are you doing?"
Jake whispers and readies his rifle.

"There's a spike strip setup..... I don't think it's because they just wanna say hello."
I say and peak over, then duck as a bullet hits the hood.

"HEY DICKHEADS? CAN I ATLEAST SEE YOU BEFORE YOU SHOOT AT ME?"
I yell and send my tendril under the car, before seeing two guys.
One in each ditch on both sides of the road.

"COME OUT, PRICK."
One of them yells, then fires at the hood again.

"AS YOU WISH, ASSHOLE."
I say and look at them two.
"Stay down.... Jake, position under the car and aim in the ditch to the right.
There's a guy.
Rachel, watch my right hand and whenever I put up two fingers. Tap him so he can fire on the guy..... Do not shoot until I give the signal."
I say and look at them.

"Yes sir."
I hear in unison, before watching Jake drop and sight in.

"Got him."
Jake says and holds steady.

"I'm coming out, don't fire."
I say and step out, before walking forward.

"MOVE AND WE SHOOT."
The one on the left yells, then looks at his partner.

I can smell the Alpha scent coming off of them, then I spot a group of Omegas behind the left one.

"HANDS ABOVE YOUR HEAD."
I hear one yell.

I raise my hands, but as I do I use my left hand to curl two fingers towards me....

The group of Omegas starts moving this way, then speeds up as they sense the food.

"Sorry."
I say and put up two fingers on my right hand, as the first of thirty Omegas reach the Alpha.

"AHHHHHH."

"BOOM."

Two separate noises happen in unison....
His partner is shot through the chest, as he starts getting ripped apart by zombies.

"Alpha.... Grab him in a hold, and bring him to me."
I say as the Omegas turn towards us, then start running.
I flick my wrist at them, then watch as they sprint down the highway.
