"River?"
I hear Claire's voice, as I open my eyes and look around.

I'm surrounded by a bright, white light. Basically the opposite of Darkland.

"Yeah."
I say and stand up, before stretching and looking around.

"Are you ok?"
She asks and steps out of the light, before stepping towards me.

"Why her?"
I ask with tears in my eyes.

"He thought you wouldn't be strong enough...."
She says as tears fall from hers.

"I was."
I say coldly and wipe my face.

"River, you shouldn't have taken their voids."
She says softy and looks at me worried.

"Why?"
I say and look a little confused.

"That's was pure darkness..... You're stronger than ever, but you're also more ruthless."
She says with a slight smile, just trying to take the edge off a little.

"I've been ruthless, so I'm not worried about it."
I say and walk around.

"No, you should be worried about it. Do you know what that does to a person?"
She asks and steps towards me.

"You do realize I'm basically a child of The Darkness, so I know all about the Darkness in
me."
I say and look at her.

"What happened to you?"
She says and puts her hand on my arm.

"What do you mean? You've kinda been with me for all of it."
I say.

"I mean before."
She looks into my eyes.

I look away and clench my fists.
"My life wasn't good. I was turned into this monster, before the first Omega was ever made."
I say solemnly and walk away.

"Oh, I'm sorry."
She says and looks at me.

"Not your problem."
I say and unclench my fists, before turning back around.

"You want to go back?"
She asks.

"Yeah, I got shit to do."
I say and pop my neck.

"As you wish."
She says and snaps her fingers, then I snap awake and stand up.

"Oh, fuck me."
I say and look around, before realizing my mom's gone.....

"No. No. No. No."
I say and look around.

"You actually thought I was gonna let you get her?"
I hear The Darkness say and laugh.

"You better pray to fucking God that I never find you, because when I do.......
I'm gonna rip you apart with my bare hands."
I say coldly and start walking.

"You're not even gonna ask where she is?"
He says confused.

"Nope, I got shit to do. She wants to be your bitch, then let her be your bitch."
I say and pass the gym, before looking at the Mexican restaurant.

Silence.

"Let's get a little present."
I say and walk towards the entrance, before knocking softly and waiting.

Nothing.

I open the door slowly and look around, but everything seems to be ok.

"Hello?"
I say loudly and walk past the cash register.

Silence.

I walk down the aisle slowly and listen, but hear nothing as I take a left. I head towards the kitchen quietly, before turning and entering the door.
