"What happened after everything went to shit?"
I ask and look at her.

"I stayed home sick and didn't have time to text you, but I was walking to my car and I dropped. Literally, dropped on the ground and my head busted open."
She says and rubs the spot where it had.

"You woke up healed, didn't you?"
I ask and look at her.

"Yeah, but I felt something dark in me....."
She looked down.

"What happened?"
I ask and squeeze her hand.

"A voice started talking to me. I was drawn to the voice and wanted to obey it, but something told me not to...... Then, he told me that you were dead and I went psycho."
She says and bites her lip nervously.

"What happened?"
I ask and pull into the driveway.

"Umm..."
She looks at Jake.

"Jake, go check on the girls."
I say and look back.

"Yes sir."
He says without hesitation and steps out, before doing a walk around the house and going in.

"Girls?"
She looks at me and her eyes go pink.

"I saved them and one of them has saved me."
I say and smile.
"Plus, they've already offered and I declined. That's when I didn't even know if you were alive, so I think that's the epitome of faithfulness."
I say.

"Damn, got me there."
She says and laughs slightly.

"Now, what happened?"
I ask and look at her.

"I went out and was just gonna let the Omegas kill me, but they just stood around me. Not moving, until I told them to in my head......
I killed them all."
She says and looks at me.

"Did you kill any Betas?"
I ask and look at her.

"No, I always stayed away."
She says and looks away.

"Good, that means you never let him fully in."
I say and hold her face in my hands.

"He's still talking to me..... He wants me to kill you."
She says softly and cries.

"Are you going to?"
I ask and hold her.

She yells and cries harder.

"Then we have nothing to worry about."
I say and rub her hair.
"Come on, let's go inside."

She stutters out through tears, before wiping them away and getting out.

"Come on."
I say and wrap my arm around her, then walk inside.

"River! You're not dead."
Rachel says and hugs me, before backing away and looking at Sydney.
"Oh, sorry."
She says shyly.

"Sydney, Rachel. Rachel, Sydney."
I say and look them.
"Why do you think I'd be dead?"
I ask and look at her.

"You did go out with Jake."
She says with a smile.

"Hey, I heard that."
Jake yells from the kitchen, laughing.

"Jake, make me 2 steak M.R.E's."
I say.

"Yes sir."
He says and I hear him moving through the kitchen.

"Come on, let's get you bathed and in bed."
I say and lead her to the shower, before getting an idea.

"How cold is the water?"
She asks and begins stripping.

"Hopefully not, if this works."
I say and look at the shower head.

"Ok, boy wonder."
She says laughing, before stepping in and turning on the water.
"OH FUCK ME."
She yells as the ice cold water hits her.
