"Boss?"
Jake says as he walks to the front door.

"Yeah, load the bags.
All except for Serena's."
I say and look over at her.

"Yes sir."
Jake says and hurries back inside.

Serena nods and walks inside, before grabbing her bags and walking out.
She walks down the steps slowly.

I watch her confused and look at her.
"Where do you think you're going?"
I ask and look at her confused.

"You want me to leave.
I'm attracting too much attention."
She says and looks down.

"Are you serious?"
I ask, starting to laugh hysterically.

"Why the hell are you laughing?"
She asks and looks at me confused.

"Because you think I'm gonna make you leave...... I have a price on my head, and you say that you're attracting too much attention."
I say laughing.
"We're running to Chaplain's for your training."

"Ohhhhh."
She says and laughs slightly, before shuffling her feet.

"Baby girl?"
I say and turn to Sydney.

"Yes sir?"
She says back and steps forward.

"On the ride over to Chaplain's keep an Omega escort on you."
I say and look at her.

"Yes sir."
She says and goes inside.

"EVERYBODY, WE LEAVE IN FIVE."
I say and turn to Serena.
"Might wanna start warming up."
I say smiling and turn around, before walking inside.

"You mind if I catch a ride back?"
Vet asks and walks behind me.

"No problem, just go tell Jake you're riding."
I say and walk to the bedroom, before checking my gear.
"KaBar..... Check.
Beretta's...... Check."
I think to myself, before realizing it's all I own.

"River?"
Serena's soft voice comes from behind me.

"Yeah?"
I say and turn around.

"Do you really think you can train me?"
She asks and steps forward, before hopping onto the bed.

"Do you want me to train you?"
I ask and look at her.

"That wasn't the question."
She says back quickly.

"No, it's what the question should have been."
I say back and look at my knife.

"Good point.... Yes."
She says and shuffles her feet.

"You gotta cut that shit."
I say and look up.

"What?"
She asks confused.

"Shuffling your feet, it's a sign of weakness.
It shows that you're scared or nervous."
I say and look at her feet.

"I am scared though."
She says softly.

"Good."
I say and holster the blade.

"Why is that good? You're never scared."
She says back.

"Because, out of fear comes strength.
I'm always scared, you just can't let anyone know."
I say and check my pistols, before going in the closet and pulling on the leather jacket.
I look over at Serena and realize she'd be completely exposed.
I pull off the jacket and toss it to her.

"What's this for?"
She asks confused.

"Protection from Omega bites."
I say and walk back to the bed.

"Oh."
She says and goes to put on the jacket.

I snap and watch a gunman appear, with a .45 glock aimed at her head.
