We're walking down the concrete hallway, but this time Goliath isn't attacking us.

"Rachel, did you see anyone else when you got here?"
I ask and stay on my toes.

"Maybe one or two, but they ran away when they saw me."
She says and walks behind me with Jake.

"Stay ready. We don't know what's waiting for us."
I say and keep my hands ready.

"Boss, I don't know if I can fight."
Jake says and limps along.

"Here, let me help."
Rachel reaches over to try and help.

"No, you need to be ready... I'm fine."
He says and starts walking straight.

"Jake, if something happens then you find cover."
I say and look at him.

"Yes sir."
He says and struggles to take a deep breath, as we walk up the steps to the yard.

"Jake, you're injured so focus all your powers to your senses. You're our threat detector."
I say and look back again.

"Yes sir."
He says and closes his eyes, as Rachel and him scoot up to beside me.

"Rachel, we're the physical attack."
I say and look beside me.

"Yes sir."
She says and goes back to scanning.

I walk and keep scanning, as we reach the fence to outside.
I raise my hands and focus on Light, then watch as the fence melts from the beam.
"Jake, you get out first."
I say and turn.

Jake crawls out, then Rachel follows......

A low rumble starts to come from the ground.

"BOSS! Get out."
Jake yells and goes to crawl back through.

Asphalt goes up and covers the hole, then I watch as every exit is covered.

"This is gonna be interesting."
I say and look around, before seeing a figure rise out of the ground.
Only ten feet away from me.

"So, you're The Alpha Omega."
I hear his voice say.

"That's what they call me."
I smile and watch, before putting my palms down.
I cover the ground under me with a purple wall.

"I'm happy you're not the one who got Goliath's powers."
He says laughing.

"Why's that?"
I ask and watch his hands.

"Because, then you'd be able to counter this."
He says and raises his hands, then I feel something pushing on the wall.

"I accounted for that... I'm surrounded by your power."
I say and continue watching him.

"So... You're not just a brute, killing-machine."
He says with a laugh.

"The killing-machine part is right."
I say smiling, before sliding the bottle out and rolling it across the ground.

"We'll see."
He says and raises his hand, then I feel a tendril of asphalt smash my chest.

"AHH!"
I yell as I fly back, then slam into the fence.

"Not so tough."
He says and laughs.

I stand up and watch him.

He raises his hands and I feel something wrapped around my leg, before I'm flung across the court.

"Shit!"
I say and stand up sputtering blood, as my shoulder pops back into it's place.

"You won't win.... You're on my court, literally."
He says with a giddy smile.
