I wake up some time later, with the smell of coffee and gunpowder around me.
I lean up slowly from the couch and see Jake messing with bullets, followed by Sydney walking up with a cup of coffee.

"Sleep good?"
She asks and sets the cup down in front of me.

"I guess so and you didn't have to do this."
I say and sip the coffee, feeling the hot liquid stream down my throat.

"It's no problem, you need it."
She says and moves to the kitchen, coming back with a steak M.R.E.

"Thanks baby girl."
I say and pull her down beside me, hugging and tickling her side.

"Stopp!!"
She squeals and pushes me away.
"Dick."
She mumbles and tries to stop laughing.

I smile and take a bite of the steak.
I look around and see everyone, except Haley.
"Jake, how was training?"
I ask and look up.

"They're a bunch of cocky pricks."
He says and works with his hands.
"I hope those kids knock'em down a peg or two."
He says and continues, before looking up smiling.
"How was your first time with them?"

"Well, I threw a kid named Rob out, then shot each of them in the shoulder."
I say and chew my food, sipping the coffee and laughing slightly.

"You shot them?"
Jake asks confused.

"Dead in the shoulder."
I say and pull out the Beretta, then toss it to Jake.
"You wanna reload that for me?
I have to go put these kids through hell."
I say smiling and take off the holsters, hanging them on a coat hook.

"No problem, boss."
Jake says and goes back to focusing on the table.

"You two wanna come with?"
I ask and look at Sydney, then over at Serena.

"Hell yeah."
They both say and stand up, walking over to me.

"Where's Haley?"
I ask and look around.

"Cafeteria, she wanted some cereal."
Jake says without looking up.

"Thanks."
I say as Sydney, Serena and I walk out.
"Haley, can you hear me?"
I ask into my head as we walk to the gym.

"Yes sir, what do you need?"
She says back softly.

I pull the list out of my back pocket, before teleporting to the cafeteria, then walking over to Haley and handing it to her.
"I need those seven kids, tell them to meet me in the gym."
I say and go to teleport away.

"Wait..... We have a gym?"
She asks smiling slightly and looking up.

"That's was my reaction, but just broadcast that message."
I say and look back.

"Yes sir."
She says and closes her eyes, never stopping eating.

I focus and I'm standing back in between Sydney and Serena.
"You miss me?"
I ask and look at the two.

"Shut up."
Serena says and pushes me.

"Let's go."
I say and start walking to the gym.

"You could just teleport us there."
Sydney says and puts her arm through mine.

"I could but then I wouldn't get to show you off."
I smile and kiss her head, opening the doors to the gym.

"Ughhhh!"
She says smiling and walks in.
"I hate it when I'm trying to be mad and you make me smile."
She walks in behind Serena.

"You know you love me."
I say following, moving to the side.

"So, what's our purpose today?"
Serena asks and turns back.
