I look back one last time and smile at the bodies, as I walk towards my snipers.

"BOOOM!"

I drop to my knees as the bullet rips through my heart, before slamming face down into the AstroTurf.

I snap awake and lift myself off the bed, listening as my alarm clock blares.

"RIVER, GET YOUR ASS UP!!"
My mom yells from downstairs.

I look around confused and reach for my Beretta's, but instead I'm just touching my bare side.
"What.... There's no way that was a dream."
I think to myself as I get up and look outside.....

Everything's fine.
There's no blood-soaked streets, no blood-thirsty Omegas and no bodies laying around.

I stick my palm upwards and focus, but nothing happens.
I focus as hard as I can, but nothing happens.

"RIVER, HURRY THE HELL UP!!
YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE!"
My mom yells again.

"COMING!!"
I yell back as I get dressed and grab my backpack, hurrying down the steps.

"You ready?"
My mom asks smiling.

"Yeah, lets go."
I say smiling back as I realize it was all a dream.
I go to walk out the door, before realizing my mom isn't following me.
"You coming?"
I ask confused and look back.

"Are you kidding me?
Your first day with your license and you still want your mom to drive you to school."
She says and tosses me the keys smiling.

I grab them out of the air and look down at them.
"Yeah, you're right. I don't know what I was thinking."
I say smiling as I go to leave.

"Hey, are you ok?"
She asks me.

"I'm good, just got a little confused."
I say as I hurry outside and climb into the Challenger in front of me.
"Woah, I don't remember this."
I think to myself as I put the key in and turn, before feeling her roar to life.
I take one last look at my two-story house, before backing out and driving to school.
I pull up and get out of the car, before waking up to the front doors.
I take a deep breath and step in, scanning everything around me.

"BABYY!!"
Serena yells as she runs up and jumps into my arms.

I catch her by the thighs and lean back against the wall.

"Happy Birthday, BABY!!"
She yells again as she kisses me.

I kiss back slightly confused but just let it melt away as I kiss her, before pulling away and setting her down.
"Well thanks, princess."
I say smiling as I look down at her, feeling something off inside of me, but ignoring the feeling.

"So, I have a huge party planned later."
She says smiling as she wraps her arm around me and starts walking.

I smile as I look down and wrap my arm around her.
I look over and see a girl, pinned to the wall by another guy.
He pulls away and I see that it's Sydney, for some reason I feel a twinge of jealousy inside me.
I can't take my eyes off of her.

Sydney looks up and makes eye contact, but doesn't pull away as the guy starts kissing her neck.

"Baby?!"
Serena snaps in front of me.

"Huh?"
I ask as I tear my eyes away from Sydney and look down at her.

"Why are you looking at that bitch?"
She asks, not hiding her jealously.
"She had her chance and didn't take it."
She snaps and squeezes me tighter.

"I know baby, I was just checking out the guy's shoes. I really liked them."
I say smiling as I look down and kiss her head.
"I have you, who needs that hoe?"
I smile as I squeeze her side.
