CHAPTER 27: After the competition

(IVAN'S POV)

"Congratulations pala Allysa!"

"Thanks! Hmm.. ano na?" And then we sat in one of the bleachers here in astrodome. Paano ko ba ipapaliwanag sa kanya?

"I saw you and Jess earlier and it seems that VanEss (Ivan and Jess) is back" she said sarcaticaly. I took a deep sigh before answering her.

"Actually Allysa, im courting her" Allysa's look alter into nuts. I expected that already. Alam kong magagalit sya kapag sinabe ko to sa kanya.

"What the!! Are you insane Ivan?! Let me remind you that she was the one who broke your heart and made your life miserable so how come you~ UGHHHHH I really dont understand you Ivan and I hate you for that!" Allysa said in an angry manner. Napapikit nalang ako and just nod. I understand why she reacted like that and I cant blame her.

"I know allysa but that was 4 years ago and I already forgave her. I want to start a new Allysa and this time, I know that she.. that she loves me" allysa looked at me and then smirk while folding her arms.

"Oh really Ivan? How did you say that? And did she say that she loves you already? Com'on Ivan.. wake up!! Shes toying you I know and how come you love her that easily?! Atska you court me before! I thought you already forgot her. Ugh di na kita maintindihan Ivan"

"Youre right allysa, I courted you before pero diba before nga? Allysa naman, matagal na yun eh. I already moved on. Accept it already Allysa, I dont want to see you hurting because of me. Im not the one for you.." I told her. Bigla namang huminga ng malalim si Allysa and then I saw tears escaped to her eyes

"You cant Ivan.. you love me I know" allysa suddenly looked to me furiously. I know that she's just supressing her anger.

"Ba't~ ba't ganun Ivan. Ako naman yung nasa tabi mo nun nung sobrang gulo mo because of Jess pero baket hanggang ngayon sya paren yung gusto mo ha?" I hug and tapped her back.

"I know Allysa. At first I thought I forgot her already but when I saw her, lahat bumalik and then I realized, di naman kase nawala eh kaya paano babalik. Am I that crazy?! *chuckle*" Allysa broke the hug and then looked at me pissed.

"So ano.. ginawa mo lang akong rebound Ivan huh?! Akala ko ba you really respect girls so how come?!"

"No allysa its not what you think. I loved you before, I seriously do and I thought that was enough already. Siguro mahirap lang talaga para sakin na may mas makalamang kay Jess kasi.. sobra ko siyang mahal. Sorry Allysa..I know im such a jerk--"

"You really are a jerk Ivan pero sige. Since you really love Jess, then okay. I'll let you." then she manage to smile and that caught me offguard. Seriously? Ganun nalang yun pagkatapos nyang magalit?

"I know what youre thinking Ivan. Well.. wala naman na akong magagawa diba kaya ba't ko pa ipipilit yung sarili ko. Siguro mas okay na to"

"Are you sure Allysa?" I asked curiously.

"Yes Ivan.." and then she hug me. *sigh* salamat naman at okay na. Akala ko mahihirapan pa akong magpaliwanag sa kanya eh.

(JESS'S POV)

"dumating na ba si Ivan?"

"Bat ba saken kayo tanong ng tanong ha?!" I cry. Bwisit kase bat ba saken nila hinahanap yung Ivan na yun.

"Ui ayan na pala sya eh." Napalingon naman ako bigla and I saw nothing then I suddenly feel Kevin's finger tickling me.
