Chapter 29

I went back to Glen's condo. Hindi ko alam kung paano mag rereact. Bago pako makapag isip na sugurin sila ay minabuti kong umalis. Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili kong maiyak.

Hindi dahil may relasyon sila, kundi dahil hindi ko alam kung anong meron sakanila. After a while I stopped and fixed myself.

Alam kong may pinagsamahan sila nung nagtago ako sa Dubai. Siguro ay nagkita sila dahil ito lang ang chance na ma congratulate ni Glenn si Anna. Tama! Yun nga siguro yun.

I took a warm shower and heard someone get in the room. Si Glen nga siguro ito. Natapos ako at isinuot ko yung robe. He saw me and came close to give me a kiss.

"Tired?" I asked.

"Yes. Very. There were a lot of things to do in the office." sagot nito. Hinihintay kong mabanggit niya sana na nagkita sila ni Anna but I was wrong. He started to loosen uo his clothes and took a towel going sttaight to shower.

I felt dumb-founded. I tried to get my mind of things and naisipan kong maghanap na ng aapplyang trabaho online. I took my laptop in the living room and started to look for job vacancies in the locality.

It took me almost an hour to list down a few jobs. Then I remembered Glen. Nagbalik ako sa kwarto para sana tanungin kung gusto niyang ipagluto ko siya but I found a man sleeping like a baby on the bed.

I didn't bother waking him up because siguro nga napag isip isip ko din baka marami lang siya masyadong ginagawa at di niya naisipang banggitin iyon. I went back to the living room took an extra blanket at duon ako natulog.

"Hey.. is something wrong?" I heard a voice waking me up. I opened my eyes to see Glen looking at me from the side of the couch.

"Is it time to wake up?" I asked while trying to reposition myself to go to sleep.

"No, pero bakit ka dito natulog? Are you not happy sleeping with me?" Nagtatakang tanong nito.

Honestly, hindi ko din alam. Naguguluhan ako. Hindi ko matanggal ang pagdududa dahil kung may nangyayari talaga sakanila ni Anna, hindi ko kakayaning makasama siya sa kama kahit kailan.

"Nothing. Baka natulugan ko yung kaka internet ko kagabi" nagdahilan nalang ako.

"Oh, you should come with me to bed" alok niya saakin pero nagkunwari nalang akong tulog na. Hindi ako umimik dahil ayoko talaga sanang sumama.

After maybe a minute I heard him sigh. I rolled over having my back face him then itinuloy ko ng matulog. However, I felt arms lifting me up.

I was being carried bridal style. I can't open my eyes nor make a noise. Darn. Malalaman niyang gising ako. Inihiga niya ako sa kama at tsaka siya umalis.

There will be at least 5 days before Anna's wedding. I was starting to doubt this wedding but at the same time thankful for it. Ito nalang ang pinanghahawakan ko para mawala yung pagdududa ko.

I was looking for flowers para sa wedding. I asked Anna what she wanted and she said I can choose whatever I wanted. Napaka unusual dahil siya ang ikakasal ngunit di niya kayang makapag decide mag isa.

After nito kailangan ko pang magpunta sa catering services to check the food and then the cake. Freaking Anna and her wedding! Ang hirap gawin nito mag isa!

I texted Glen to ask where he was and if he is free for lunch but all I received was a plain No.

To Glen:

Please baby. Urgh. Im having a hard time choosing which is nice and right for Anna's wedding.

From Glen:

Where are you?

To Glen:

In front of your office ;)

After 5 minutes wala pading reply. I guess he was on a meeting or something. Naglakad nako paalis para makasakay ng taxi. I was about to hail one ng makita ko from my peripheral view si Anna ag Glen. Mabilis na naglalakad papuntang opisina ni Glen?

Saan sila galing? At bakit sila nagmamadali? Oh shoot! Tinext ko nga pala siya. But.. why are theg together? Agad kong itinaas ang kamay ko para makakuha ng taxi and pretended I didn't see them as soon as nakita kong napatingin sakin si Glen.

I immediately went inside and tried to watch them from the cabs rear view mirror. Hinatak ni Glen si Anna and I saw a blank expression on her face. I couldn't see what happened next because the taxi drove away and it was too far for me to even look at them already.

I felt confused. Parang may kumurot sa dibdib ko. I literally hyperventilated. Tinanong pako ng driver if I was okay and I just nodded.

How can I be okay kung magkasama ang bestfriend ko at boyfriend ko? To think na akala ko may inaayos si Anna na wedding plans but instead she was with Glen. Gusto kong umiyak pero hindi ko alam kung tama ang nasa isip ko.

Ayokong tumama. Most of the time kapag ang babae naghinala alam mong may ibig sabihin na ito. Heart breaking as it is. I have to get to the bottom of this.

I was at home by 7pm. I finished a lot of stuff even if I know Im planning a wedsing for my bestfriend-maybe-my-boyfriends-mistress.

Ayokong mag open up kila Aroes at Gwen dahil baka magkamali ako at magdulot ito ng malaking away saaming magkakasama.

I heard my stomach making noise but I was not in the mood to eat. I was pacing back and forth. I have decided to ignore this matter. Kailangan kong kumalma. I took an anti-anxiety pill and a sleeping pill.

I felt drowsy so I went straight to the bedroom and fell asleep.

"She's not f.cking here! Nakita niya siguro tayo! Ito na nga ba ang sinasabi ko" I heard shouting and loud footsteps going on and on.

I was too sleepy to bother. I tried to snuggle myself on the bed and went back to sleep.

"I don't know. All her stuff are here. I called her family house and they haven't heard from her for days. I want you to find her!" I was awaken again by voices, shouting and mumbling.

My eyes were still dropping and I crabed for sleep more. I wanted to check what was the noise all about but I was too lazy and tired to function.

Glen's POV

"Sir, was she wearing a red dress when you last saw her?" One of the policeman asked me.

I was confused. But yes I remember seeing her on that red sexy dress hailing a taxi.

"Yes! How'd you know?! Did you find her?!" I felt agitated. This can't happen now. No.

"Uhh..is she the woman sleeping on your guest room sir? Wala po kasing kumot mukhang masarap naman ang tulog" I quickly ran to the room and slammed the door open.

"Damn!" I felt people running towards my way. How could I be that stupid! She was with me all along. She was sleeping in a fetal position her head snuggled on the middle of the pillows. I can see half of her naked body. That dress made her look more seducing and from the angle I see her its almost enough for me to get a peak of whats hidden under that dress.

Naalala ko may mga police sa condo I stood in front of them and spread my arms to cover the sexy goddess in sight.

"Leave! Its fine. It was a mistake Im sorry for the inconvenience" I pulled the door half open and led them all to leave the condo. Hindi ko matatanggap na pag piyestahan ng mga mata nila si Jennifer. She's mine. Mine Alone.
