Interviewer: Have a rundown with these questions Sir and just tell us when you’re ready.

 

Guest: *grabs the paper and politely nods, shaking head a couple of times while reading the written questions*

After 10 minutes…

Guest: (Looks intently at the interviewer) “Can I just answer continuously? I mean, you don’t need to ask me anymore I’ll just have this paper as my guide while speaking. Is that fine?”

Interviewer: Ah I see. So it’s true that you’re not comfortable talking with press people considering how prominent you are as a businessman. Okay, okay. *smiling sweetly* Shall we start rolling then?

If you’ll ask me to describe the kind of life that I live, that would also mean describing the kind of personality that I have: Normal.

And that’s synonymous to the words typical, ordinary and common.

With the words mentioned above, it undoubtedly slaps you the word BORING in the face.

Yes, in Capital letters, and in that intensity.

So it will just bore you to delve deep into my life.

I am no extraordinaire.

Well, okay if you really say so let me satisfy your curiosity by elaborating some fun facts of how boring I am.

I am an only child. Therefore, I don’t have any siblings. Both parents are also an only child so that means that I have no cousins to play with.

Subsequently, that makes me the only heir to my parents’ business. Can you spot the thrill then? BORING eh?

I took a business course which was expected of me so I can handle our business when both of my parents retire. Sounds pretty BORING too, right?

A varsity basketball player since elementary up to college. Sounds cool? Is it not boring because it’s cool?

For me? Still BORING.

Have you ever asked yourself what kind of person are those players that you swooned over and stalked every single day of your lives aside from perfectly shooting the hoops with that ball? Who knows, that’s the only thing that they knew because that’s the only skill that they mastered. And you might not want to know the rest of who they are, I’ll bet you on that. *sheepishly smiles while shaking his head*
