July 1994..
Michael...

I'm sitting at the hotel just rocking and shaking because Whitney is about to come up with my baby girl I can't wait to see how big she's gotten. I heard a knock on the front door and I jumped up. My bodyguard went to open it and move to the side to reveal Robyn holding my baby girl.

"Thanks Robyn for bringing her."I told Robyn as I went and got Mya from her.

"Whitney said for you to be meet her at Cissy's house at 4." She told me before she steeped back out the door.

I held my baby girl and took her bag to the backroom.

"Hey Mya, daddy missed you. Did you miss daddy?" She smiled. Whitney told me she had been doing this alot lately. I played with her for a while. Then fed her and put her to sleep.

3 o'clock came and I knew it was time to get myself together and be on my way to Whitney's mom house. I liked Ms. Cissy and she like me put I'm not sure how she will feel about me when she knows everything. I rocked my baby girl before putting her into the carseat, telling myself everything will be fine.

We arrived at Whitney's mom house a little after 4. Whitney rushed outside and I took the carseat with Mya in it and walked after her. She took us to the dining room where no one was.

"Are you nervous Michael?" She asked me. I looked down at Mya who was stirring up. And place the carseat on the table. And picked her up.

"Of course I am. Normally I'm fine with your mother but these are far different circumstances." I bounced Mya.

"Well they know I had the baby and that she is not dead. I explained everything to them told them we still don't want her in the spotlight. My mother just nodded he head the whole time. I think everyone will be fine when the see her. If not who cares she ours not theirs. I just wanted to finally be honest." She told me all this and I took it in. I wonder if I should tell my mom or my wife. I shook that out of my head a remember it's about Whitney today.

"It will be fine. Let's go introduce her to everyone. I really excited she may even smile at them." I told her trying to cheer her up. She smile at me and I smiled back and looked at Mya in my arms. I followed Whitney to the backyard where I see her family from a distance all around a large table. We walked toward them and sat at in the middle of the table.

"Hi everyone." I spoke then looked down at Mya who was now looking around at the out doors. This would probably be the longest she been outside. We generally keep her in the house and away from people. I looked up and everyone was staring at us.

"Well Mike, she looks like you and Whitney alot." Gary Whitney's brother finally spoke.

"Thanks Gary." I answered. Then Ms Cissy finally spoke. She stood up and walked over to where Whitney and I were sitting. She stood over us.

"I'd like a better look at my grandchild." She went to grab Mya and I gave her up. Whitney finally smiled.

"Well aren't you beautiful and just so cute. I don't know why they tired to hide you from us but now you stuck with granny. Let's go back in house so you won't catch a cold." She said leaving us all baffled until we followed her into the living room.

"So which one of you are going to tell me her name?" Ms Cissy asked. As she sat down in her reclining chair.

"It's Michaela Willow Houston Jackson but we call her Mya for short." I spoke. She looked up at us.

"I love it and I bet you're a daddy girl too cause he just look like he ready to get you back." We all laughed and I finally relaxed and sat back. She sat her on her lap on top of one of the house blankets. When she laid her on the blanket Mya began to laugh we all just laughed again.

"Oh my, look at those dimples, those had to have come from daddy." She said as she laughed and pick her back up.

We all laughed and talked. Ms. Cissy said she understand why we kept her a secret and how much she would love to babysit. She asked how Bobbi Kris interacted with the baby. And truthfully it never crossed my mine. But it was nice to hear she loved her sister. And how Bobby helped without being asked. Seemed like everyone understood and supported us with our decision.
