As I cry,
my tears show all the pain you've put in my heart.
As I scream,
my screams show all the hatred you put in my soul.
As I cut,
my blood shows all the lies you've put in my head.
As I pray,
my words show how forgiving I can be, and how I don't want you to keep me down.
As I smile,
my laughs show just how much better I am than you.
As I walk away,
the descending sound of my steps shows how much smarter I am than you.
As I close my eyes,
my dreams show just how much stronger I am than you.
And as I look you in the eyes tonight,
my feelings prove I always have,
I do,
and I always will love you more than you could ever love anyone, and nobody will ever love you as much as I do today.
