I whisper I love you when we are on the phone, but do you hear it? No.

I cry out your name at night, but do you hear it? No.

I miss you, but do you miss me? No.

I need you, but do you care? No.

I don't want you to leave me, but will you?

I look up slowly because if I look up fast I'll be more disappointed.

I don't like to look up because what's the point if nothing is there?

If you are not there.

When I look down I can keep your memory there where it's written deep down into my wrists.
