You twirl me around,
colors blend in tight streaks,
my vision becomes clear and my eyes rest on you.
You look so perfect.
This night is so perfect.
I'm in a picture perfect moment.
Or so it seems.
On the outside.
On the inside, my mind never stopped twirling, the colors just continued swirling.
Round and round they go, changing faces, escaping spaces.
The falling seemed endless, the gasps and stares stung painfully in the back of my mind.
My thoughts flow through me.
All this to leave?
All this time and you're giving up?
All this happiness and you want me to forget?
Wind cold as ice and rain sharp as pins tortures my exposed skin as I run.
Running away from you, from us, from our love, I never thought I'd have to do this.
I'm ruined now.
You're killing me slowly, and you like it don't you?
I need a way out, I'm desperately seeking an answer, calling out for help.
Help that will never come.
