Where am I when I'm alone?

Where am I when I'm alone?

I'm in a world where everything is beautiful,

There's no pain, hurt, tears, or death.

There is smiles, laughs, love, and happiness

It is a world of peace, it is my world.

When I'm in my world,

I have no pain, hurt, tears, or death.

I only smile, laugh, love, and listen to music.

It is where I belong forever.

It's always sunny and beautiful,

Picture perfect, but one day it turns dark, starts to storm.

I don't know why, what happened?

I go to my tree, the tree of my life.

It holds my secrets, keeps them hidden deep within its roots deep in the soil.

The tree has fallen.

My secrets are all pouring out, all the pain is here.

What do I do?

My smiles turn to pain.

My laughs turn to hurt.

My love turns to tears.

and, my music turns to death.

I'm lost now,

where do I go?

I need help.

I go to my garden, it's my safe place, I can think here.

but, when I get there I don't have to think,

I know what is wrong.

I failed myself longer than I thought.

I got so used to everything here,

I forgot about my feelings.

I forgot why I created this place in the first place.

I know now.

I created this place for us.

I didn't want to hurt you.

I didn't want you to hurt me.

I wanted us happy, forever.

I couldn't find you though.

I had to wait for you to find me.

And...you did.

You're the one that cut my tree down.

You wanted to know everything.

I thought that would be the worst thing ever if you knew everything.

But..I felt good.

We are perfect, and I want you to know that I do believe this...we really are.

And, I do love you with all my heart and more.
