A Violist Rant

OK. THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS RANT BUT IT NEEDS TO BE SAID.

So, I play the viola. And viola music is in alto clef, which no other instrument uses. And it doesn't help that most people assume that the viola is a bigger violin/the same thing as a violin, and that violas can play violin music just fine.

No. No we can't.

The difference between a violin and a viola is that the violin has a higher string the viola doesn't have, and the viola has a lower string the violin doesn't have.

Therefore, it is hard for violas to play violin music, since we can't play high notes as easily.

Anyway, the reason for this rant is because I was looking for sheet music for Undertale, and, after a really long Internet surfing session, I actually managed to find viola sheet music for Death by Glamour, and a Bonetrousle viola duet, by some miracle. I'm happy with that for now, though, because I have discovered that Death by Glamour is really fun to play XD
