"Pack up, we're going home." Yoongi ruffled her mint locks, and pulled her in for a side hug as he plopped down on the spot beside her.
She rinsed off the paint from her brush and shifted a little to his direction, giving him a quick smile. "How was work?"
"I'm starting to hate the smell of coffee." Was all he said before he crossed his arms over his chest and pouted.
Serin nods and shoves her sketchpad into her bag, "Good. I prefer chocolate drinks."
She zips up her bag and takes his hand, "Now, come on. I'll cook dinner for you."
Yoongi tugs onto her hand gently as she follows him down the usual route back to his apartment.
That stupid old box of comfort.
"So, what's for dinner?" He turns to her and pulls her close to him. "Is this some sort of compensation from last night's beat up?"
Serin chuckles softly and shakes her head, "Dude, I just wanted to make something nice for you."
Her smile almost faltered when she felt her heart twitch when she remembered each punch and kick.
Her hands are squeezed into fists as his groans still echoes in her ears. She was never the type to hurt anyone physically, but the events of yesterday may have changed that.
"Ah, shit." Yoongi slapped his forehead. "I've only got ramen packs and kimbab at home."
Serin chuckles and squeezes his hand. "We can stop by the grocery,"
"But we'll have to walk back again. I'm already tired." Yoongi whines like a child and pouts. "I'm okay with ramen."
"Are you sure you don't want to eat real food tonight?" She tilts her head a little as they reach the door of his apartment.
He unlocks the door and pulls her in with him, "I'm sure." He chuckles and pecks her cheek.
She smiles and nods, trailing into the kitchen; dropping her coat and bag in the process.
The kitchen was simple. Dark wooden counter tops that were worn on the edges with a regular sized microwave sitting on top of it.
An off white stove sat below a rectangular window and the fridge stood erect near the last counter.
The sink had a dirty plate in it along with a spoon and a pair of chopsticks. He probably left it there this morning while he was in a rush.
She went on her the tips of her toes and reached to open the cupboard for two cups of instant ramen. Unhealthy, but satisfying to the tastebuds.
After opening a couple other cabinets, she finally found a cooking pot. She filled it with water and quickly turned on the stove.
She pulled open the paper cover with an aluminum lining. When the water started to boil, she poured it into both cups.
After cutting open the last pack of flavouring, strong arms suddenly snaked around her waist, pulling her close, "Hey,"
Yoongi rested his chin on her shoulder, watching as she continued to pour in the flavouring. However, this time she had a small smile on her lips.
