I knew from the start that I'd be wasting my time coming here. I was never really the type to go clubbing anyway which is why I've asked myself almost more than ten times why I agreed on attending this stupid party, four hours away from where I lived, when I knew at the end that I'd be regretting my decision.

I cringed at the sight of drunk or maybe people who were acting drunk, mercilessly grinding on each other like there was no tomorrow as I shoved my way through the crowd towards the restroom at the back corner of this shoebox shaped place. I just wanted to check if I still looked human after the glasses of alcohol that intoxicated girls and a few guys had spilled on me. Not to mention the amount of sweat that I had shed throughout the night.

A wave of relief passed through me as I finally saw the entrance of the restroom just a few more steps away from me when I was suddenly pushed by the aggressive trying-hard dancers and was shoved against someone else. I was pushed up against a woman with her chests nearly sticking out of the top of her dress. Shivers ran up my spine when I saw that her chests were pressed up against my bare arm and the worst thing about it was that she started rubbing them against me.

I quickly shoved her back and made a run for it towards the restroom. I felt like vomiting and fainting at the same time. This is why I don't go to places like this. I just want to leave this place right away and take a shower to scrub off all this grease and dirt I feel all over my body.

My hands gripped onto the edges of the ceramic sink, which was surprisingly clean, as I stared at my reflection which also stared back at me. My skin was shiny from oil and my makeup was smudged to different direction. I looked like I was murdered except I was alive. I looked like I was dragged into hell and that's why I switched on the faucet and splash water onto my face. I didn't care how long it would take because I just wanted to get rid of all this toxic on my face.

Right when I was about to go into one of the cubicles, smooching sounds came out of the one at the very end followed by a chain of moans. "Shit," I cursed as I hurried out of the restroom and tried to erase from my mind what I had just heard. "I'm gonna go ahead." I told Minji who was down to her sixth shot tonight. I knew Solbi wouldn't be able to drive me home anymore since she was nowhere to be found so I knew I had to be quick if I wanted to reach the last train back home.

People were pressed up against the wall with their lips connected as they kissed their faces off. Others were getting drunk at the bar and the rest were still busy grinding on each other on the dance floor. This wasn't the kind of place I was used to spending my Saturday night in. I usually either stayed home and watched movies or went out to enjoy some coffee in that café a few blocks down from my apartment.

I pushed the doors open only to be greeted by the heavy pouring of raindrops from the dark sky. The roads were empty and people had already gone in to shield themselves from the piercing rain and I was left to think of what I should do. I only had one option: Run and look for the train station because if not, I'd have to spend the night in one of the convenience stores in town.

I pulled my jacket closer to my body, as if it made a difference, and sprinted down the wet sidewalk. My hair quickly melted down as if they were marshmallows as the raindrops penetrated through my hair strands. It was freezing but I wanted to go home. I looked around but all I could see were fuzzy lights and blurred store signs through the heavy rain. I didn't know where I was going and I didn't know where I should be heading and so I thought, never mind going home tonight. I should just go for the convenience store plan.

My teeth started to chatter after the few minutes of running around, trying to get some sense of direction. I was panting, I don't know if it was because of running or because of the feeling of the temperature dropping by the second. I felt like I was going to freeze my fingers off. What a great night to be wearing a skirt with only some stockings to cover your legs.
