"It's Monday I wasn't ready for the week I never am. I am glad I get to see Lydia and Eve today. Hahaha I'm talking to myself again. I should probably get up and get ready to go."
I got up threw on the usual, Black jeans and I somewhat colorful shirt. I ran upstairs to grab some coffee, a muffin, and say goodbye to my family. I was on my way to school and like usual I saw Lydia's bus drive by. I was almost all the way to school and I wanted the day to be over.
..............
I got to school and didn't see Lydia anywhere... I got in the cafeteria and asked everyone if she had come in there already and she wasn't there. She hadn't even gone in there. It was weird she has almost never missed school. I grabbed my phone of my backpack and called her. It rang three times and then she answered. "Hey where are you!?!?! You can't leave me here with these people!!" I giggled slightly. All I herd was her breathing usually she laughs with me but she was just silent. "Lydia... What's wrong?" She took a deep breath and answered. She told me everything, she told me about her brother and her running because she couldn't handle the stress of throwing this at her. But when she finished speaking I wanted to go home... I wanted to cry... She's leaving me. She is going to Everest... Everest Jr. High.
I was still in the cafeteria... Lydia told me she had to go, she hung up the phone and I almost dropped to my knees. This hit me so hard and I don't know why... Its not like she is moving across the room and I wont be able to see her ever again.
I staggered back words, I caught myself and max seemed to practically run to my rescue. I about fell to the floor but max came up behind me and caught me. As I turned around his eyes flashed a bright red. It was weird we stood there for a few minutes and just stared at each other. "Umm... Are you okay?" He broke the awkward silence... I was glad but a little frustrated at the same time he made me forget about my best friend leaving me. "Yeah... I'm fine... I just got a little light headed is all." I smiled and rushed past him.
When I got outside I stopped... I looked towards the building and thought: "Oh god... How am I going to survive the day without her?!?"
....................
The day is finally over. I got outside the building and there she was waiting for me. I was so over joyed. I ran up to her and practically tackled her to the ground. "OMG... LYDIA... My day was so terrible without you... Science was so boring a..." She cut me off.
"I'm just here to grab my stuff and have all my teachers sign a paper so that I can move to Everest... Oh and there is room and with where me and some friends live you all can move with me... That's what I also came to do is have ask three four people to move schools with me." She seemed so sad... Her voice was so monotone. "Your the first person I wanted to ask."
"Um I don't know if my parents will let me but they might." She finally smiled at me.
"I'm also asking Max, Eve, Chase and Lilly... But I need to go find everyone... I'll talk to you later."
She didn't even give me a chance to say goodbye she just left. I need to know what's wrong...
