Oliver pov.

As I was walking down the hall Lydia stopped in the door way of her room. I turned around to see what she was doing and she looked up... Then she fell to the floor. Put her in a bed and they were trying to bring her back.

I was yelling her name when she wasn't waking up... They pulled me out of the room. They told me that I couldn't be there at that time. I didn't want to leave her side I needed to stay by her side to make sure she came back to me.

In what seemed like slow motion the nurses pushed me out the door. Instantly I walked as fast as I could down the stairs and out the front door. I jumped in my car and called Angel... The phone rang three times before she answered.

"Hello." The voice on the other end spoke.

"Angel... Is this Angel?" I was talking frantically.

"Yes this is her... Oliver what's wrong!?!?" She began to sound worried.

"You need to come to the hospital immediately!!!" I was rushing through my words I bet she didn't understand me but knows what I said.

"Why... What happened... Did something happen to Lydia." She sounded like she was almost in tears. "Oliver what happened to Lydia after we all left?!?"

"I was taking her down to the cafeteria to get something to eat and before she made it very far from her room she fell and before they pushed me out of the room she was flat lining and she wasn't waking up." I herd her breathing begin to be heavy as if he was going to burst into tears.

"Meet me in the lobby I'm heading over right now." She hung up the phone and I went into the lobby to wait.

..............

Angels pov.

I rushed up stairs to the kitchen and found my key and put my shoes on. I ran to the front door. Before I made it outside my parents stopped me. "And where do you think you are going?"

"I have to go to the hospital... Lydia collapsed and the last thing that her boyfriend told me was that she was flat lining and that they were trying to get her to wake up."

"Well what are you standing there talking to us for go and make sure she is okay... Text us and let us know more when you find out." My mom shooed me out the door.

I got in my car and drove as fast as I could... I was probably going way over the speed limit. My best friend isn't supposed to leave me... We are supposed to grow up together. We are supposed to be breaking hearts and taking names together.

I could feel the tears building up in the back of my trout... The light ahead of me turned to red. When my car came to a stop I burst into tears. Before the light turned green I put my sleeping with sirens CD in and turned it up to block out the emotions. Ha now that I think about is she would have done the same thing.

About two minutes later I showed up at the hospital I found the parking space that was closest to the front door. I looked in my rear view mirror to make sure I didn't look like I was crying like an idiot. I got out of the car and ran inside. I found Oliver pacing back and fourth. "Oliver." I said in a somewhat quiet voice.

He walked my way and we rushed up the stairs to her room.

................

Oliver's pov.

"I called Lydia's dad he is going to be here in about five hours."

Angel nodded her head at me. We made it up to the room... A nurse was sitting in the room with her. I could tell she was going to give us news about Lydia.

When we walked in the room Lydia was asleep in her bed with a heart beat... Thank the gods. "Hello." The nurse began to speak when we walked in the room. "So there is some good news and some bad news. The bad news... Your friend here has cancer. The good news... We can take it out and she wont have to go through any chemotherapy or anything like that."

Wait cancer... When I found out that I was a hunter I went through all of this. How did I not realize any of this... I am so stupid.
