The Wall We Built

Chapter 32

About five minutes past and Oliver was standing at my door. He didn't even knock... He just walked in and hugged me. Fear rushed through me... I didn't know how this man got into my house. I was still trying to contemplate the fact that he knew my name.

"Lydia are you okay... What did this man look like." He pulled me into a hug when he kissed my for head. "We will figure out who this is and keep you protected from him... I won't let anything happen to you."

I dug my face into his chest. "Will you please just stay here tonight... I don't want to be alone." My voice was muffled by his shirt. "Monica's bed is still in my room."

"What about your parents." He asked with a concerned look on his face.

"My mom doesn't live here and my dad is on a trip for work and won't be back for three weeks." A slight smile surfaced on his face.

"Well... I guess I could stay." He put his arm around me and we walked down the stairs to my room.

Thank god my room was clean. It would be mega embarrassing if my room looked disgusting.

I laid down in my bed... Oliver shut off the light and for a few minutes laid down in Monica's bed but made his way to my bed. I snuggled my head on his chest and slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up the next morning and oliver was gone... I convinced myself to get out of bed and go look for him. He was upstairs talking on the phone.

When he heard me walk up the stairs he hung up the phone. "Who was that?"

"Someone that can help us figure out who the guy was that was here last night." He said and walked over and gave me a hug. "Also Sam and some members from his pack is coming over to see if they can catch the sent of the man so they can track him."

I nodded my head. "Okay.. Uh I am gonna go take a shower." I walked back down stairs and got ready for the day.

A few hours later Sam and a few other people showed up to my house. When Sam walked in his facial expression changed to a worried look.
"What?" I asked.

"This man... He isn't human." I suddenly became terrified. "I don't understand how he got in your house... No supernatural creature is able to come in unless invited."

"Well then why can you guys come in?" I asked in confusion.

"Because werewolves don't need to be invited in... And actually only vampires need to be invited but they don't exist anymore."

"Can you guys find him... Also can. You guys identify what he is." Oliver asked.

"We can try." Sam looked back at the other people standing in the door way.

"Oh yeah so Lydia, Oliver... This is Tyrrell, Lance, Derek, and Owen." He pointed them out. "Derek is the Delta.. Angel will be Delta when she passes all the courses we have for her and derek will go back to beta."

After he finished speaking Eve knocked on the door. "Come in Eve." I said as I made my way to the door.

"What's going on guys?" She asked when she walked in and saw all the guys standing in my house. Then I noticed that Eve and Derek instantly locked eyes. There was an awkward silence for what seemed like forever.

"Well you guys can get to work with what you have to do... So see you later?" Was hoping to get all the wolves out of my house. I need to tell eve she needs to be included... Its wrong for me to keep this a secret.

"Yeah we will call Oliver when we know something." They made their way out the door and I turned to Eve.

"There is a lot that you need to be caught up on." I looked at Oliver for reassurance and we walks to my bedroom.

"Okay Eve you need to know that..." I was very hesitant... I don't know what her reaction is going to be. "You know the story's that you read in books and some of what you see in TV... Well some is true."

She paused for a minute I could tell she was wondering if she should ask me questions or wait for me to tell her more.

"Now I know this is all really blunt but I can prove it... The guys that were just here... Werewolves. There was a man here last night I don't know how he got in but he did... When he was here he was talking about a battle... He didn't finish saying what ever he was talking about he said we need to not be evolved."

"This is so crazy... How long have you know Lydia?"

"Since the end of ninth grade... I know it's been almost three years that I haven't said anything but if it makes you feel any better angel found out."

I could tell she thought about it for a few seconds and the she shoved past me and out the door. I tried to stop her... "Eve wait."
