Emily POV

I opened my eyes to find a boy holding my hand staring at me. I yanked my hand back quickly not recognizing who he is. Hurt flashed through the boy's eyes as he turned away to get a doctor. The doctor rushed into the room towards me.

"Hello miss...I'm just gonna ask you a few questions. Do you remember who you are?" The doctor asked.

"Yes." I said in a scratchy voice. He handed me a glass of water and I drank to whole thing fast.

"I'm Emily. I live with my Aunt and Uncle. My parents died a few years ago." I said. I felt confused. Then I looked at the boy next to me.

Omg! That is Evan Parker! Why is he here!

"Why are you here." I spat out. He looked taken aback.

"Do you not remember anything?"

"I remember you being a complete jerk to me 24/7! What is happening? Why am I here?" I said confused.

Evan turned and talked with the Doctor, before turning back and addressing me.

"You don't remember anything about your junior year?" I shook my head. He sighed and pulled out his phone and texted somebody.

"Can I leave now?" I asked wanting to get out of here. The doctor gave me a weak smile and shook his head.

"You must stay in here till tomorrow." The doctor said. I sighed and nodded as he left the room. I looked over at Evan who was sitting in the chair with his head in his hands.

"Why do you look upset." I asked quietly. He looked up and a tear rolled down his face.

"Because you don't remember anything that happened in the last months."

"What happened?"

"We were at a Halloween party together- and you got hit by a car." He said with his voice cracking. I gasped while thoughts and confusion rushed through my head.

I was at a party with Evan? Why would I be at a party in the first place? Especially with him?

"Would you let me take you somewhere tomorrow night?" He asked while wiping his eyes. I thought for a moment and nodded.

"Why do you wanna take me anywhere?"

"I want you to remember. Maybe it could trigger your memory."

I nodded and laid back down. He quickly stood up and quietly said his goodbyes before leaving.

Evan POV

I can't believe she doesn't remember anything about me changing and me figuring out her identity. I checked with Austin about the progress of Shakers along with telling him the bad news.

I was gonna take her to Shakers.

Hopefully something will trigger a memory.

She has to remember...she just has to.
                            *********
I woke up the next morning and decided against going to school. The nerves of what was gonna happen in the evening time was weighing on my shoulders heavily. Eventually I got up out of bed and wandered downstairs to eat. After all if that I packed the stuff Emily would need to preform, and proceeded to get myself ready.

Once the clock hit 4 I threw everything into a bag and into my car. I drove over to Shakers and entered through the back door.

I walked inside and to her dressing room. I laid out the dress on the table with the mask on top. I was going to take her in here and see if she remembered anything. I texted Austin.
