Candy left the zoo to go visit her godmother. Her name was Chloe Wallis. She was used to be an actress and she worked with her mother, that's how she became her godmother. She had now retired from acting after marrying an English Lord name Edmund Davis-Smith. They lived in a castle, not too far from Saint Paul College.

They were having tea in one of the living rooms. Chloe was happy to see her goddaughter. She had promised Eleonor to look after her and she had done so, many times. Every time Candy had trouble with her stepmonster, she would go to her godmother's who would give her shelter and food of course. Chloe was the mother she never had. Chloe had been away, she had just came back from a very long cruise with her husband.

- Candy baby! How are you today, said Chloe hugging her.

- Not good!

- You do look a little pissed... and you don't smell like cigarette today...

- Though, I wouldn't mind smoking a cigarette right now!

- Not in my house you won't!

- Don't worry, I know you're mothering me, no smoking and drinking in your castle. I wouldn't come here for that...

Candy took out a Nicorette pack took a gum and put it in her mouth and started chewing. Chloe looked at her stunned.

- Candy... you shouldn't go anywhere for that, you're still a child...is that Nicorette Gum?

- Aunt Chloe... if you want to know, I've stopped smoking and drinking.

- Come again?

- I want to be in shape for sports...

- Sports? When pigs fly! Spit it out! There's got to be a boy there somewhere...

Candy looked at Chloe. She was blond and always very elegant, with a beautiful face.

- It can't be one of your flaky princes...

- You think Prince Harry is flaky?

- You are not dating Prince Harry...

- Go tell that to the tabloids...

- Though he would be a better suitor than your other princes... You have a chance of becoming the queen of England with him.

- Yeah, what are the odds of that? If the Queen lives as long her mother...

- Maybe you should've chose William...

- William? Aunt Chloe, I'm not here to talk about the princes!

- Sorry, baby, what's bothering you?

- There's this new American boy...

- Ah!

- I like him a lot...

- You like a boy, a regular boy? Not one of those spoiled brat that likes to get drunk?

- He's in my school...

- You like a boy from your school??? That's a first! Since when do you date in school?

- Since there's a new boy I can't stop thinking about?

- Candice Grandchester, have you finally fallen in love?

- I don't know...

- You think about him?

- Yes, practically all the time...

- You're in love...

- He gets on my nerves!

- Why?

- He lost his girlfriend a few months ago... and he's got a shrine in his bedroom for her!

- He hasn't let go of her yet? Are you two going out?

- Yes...

- Then give him time... if he has a shrine like you said, that means she meant a lot to him.

- But he's with me now!

- Yes, let him get used to that... if he likes you, he's going to let go of her.

- Competing with a dead girl is no fun...

- I know, people forget everything when someone dies, they become all of a sudden perfect!

- It hurts so much! And he said I reminded him of her... maybe he's with me only because of that! Said Candy with tears pearling in her eyes.

- Candice Grandchester! You've been hit by cupid! Said Chloe taking her in her arms to console her.

Candy cried for a while. She got consoled by her godmother, who was happy to see her being a normal young girl for once...

- I have to say, it's fun to have you normal for once... your mother would be...

- Aunt Chloe, don't! Please... not now!

- I'm sorry sweetie...

- I have to go... rehearsal. You're going to be there right?

- I wouldn't miss it for the world, she said hugging her, bye my darling.

- Bye Aunt Chloe...

Candy left her godmother's castle and she went back to school just in time for the rehearsal.

Terry was in his room looking at Antonia's pictures. She was so beautiful, her smile used to lit up his day. Now he had Candy, who was getting on his nerves with her brutal honesty... Strange thing though, he couldn't stop thinking about her. She was so upset with him and jealous of Antonia... a dead girl. She was right. As much as he loved Antonia, she was never going to come back...Looking at her picture daily, was not going to bring her back either.

"Oh baby, he thought, I have to move on completely... you know you're always going to be in my heart..."

He had music playing in his room. The song was "November Rain" by Guns' n roses.
