Sleeping at the hospital was never easy for Terry. He always felt like he had not peace. During the night, pain and discomfort became worse for patients. When he was at the hospital, it was for night shifts and he rarely slept to say the least. Candy had read a story from the Bible to Esther who, had preached in the whole hospital.

- Wow Esther, I'm impressed, said Candy smiling, you're my little angel.

- I'm going to say my prayer and go to sleep, said Esther

- All right, said Candy

Esther said her prayer and Terry remembered what she told the children. When she prayed, she slept in peace. He smiled, after seeing that his daughter was sleeping deeply, Terry went to stay near Candy.

- Are you all right Sapphire eyes?

- I'm going to call Jones and let him know what's happening...

- All right.

He took his cellphone and he called his best friend Jones.

- Terry? Where are you?

- In New York.

- Why?

- Candy is in the hospital...

- Oh... is she all right?

- Yes, she's fine.

- What about you two?

- She coming home.

- Esther must be ecstatic and you too!

- Yes, said Terry smiling

- Your prayers were finally answered.

- You should never lose hope Jones

- I know buddy. Thanks to you, I had the courage to ask Ashley out

- You didn't want to kill me when she kissed me?

- Mabe for a nanosecond, but no, you were my brother. If you loved Ashled, I would've understood

- And you know that if I loved her, because you loved her, I wouldn't have done anything, right?

- I know, said Jones, I'm happy to have found you again, you got me out of a jam. I was a chicken forced to write papers for others.

- That's normal buddy, said Terry smiling

- When are you coming back?

- I don't know yet, I'll tell you when I know

- By the way, a couple wasin front of your house

- That must've been Sandra

- The woman you met in Germany?

- Yes.

- She came to see you here? Are you sure you didn't do anything with her?

- What are you thinking Jones?

- Hum, I find you odd

- Jones!

- I know you Terry. Is something happening?

- You said it was a couple. She was with a man?

- Yes.

Terry didn't know why he felt relieved all of a sudden. Sandra was with a man, which meant she wasn't interested in him romantically. But what was all that love she felt coming from her?

- Sandra is friend Jones. Ok, I'm going to let you go

- I think you're avoiding me

- Bye Jones

Candy looked at him while checking her messages on her laptop.

- Even your best friend doubts you?

- Sandra is a friend Candy, I promise you. She likes me a lot that's all. You can ask her yourself

- Don't think I won't do it

- My love, please...

- I trust you. My agent says I'm getting offers from Hollywood.

- If you want to do movies, I'm not going to stop you.

- I've lost too much time far away from Esther and with William coming soon, I don't think I'll have the time to make a movie. And it's not like I need the money or anything. And I've missed you too.

- Your prince left you a fortune...

- Even with the prince's money

- Your father probably has a trust fund for you like he did for Esther

- Ah. I see you've confronted my father and I bet he didn't budge

- I don't even know how he got my banking information!

Candy burst out laughing.

- You must have money from your adoptive family too

- Yes, but I'm using the money I'm earning at the hospital

- I want to be a homemaker...

- You intend to cook nice good meals? You???

- What?

- I can't imagine you cooking meals in the kitchen

- I wasn't raised to be a homemaker

- I know, you were raised to be a princess. Don't worry honey, I have a housekeeper and I can afford to hire a cook

- Terry, you could've had another woman who would've been a perfect homemaker

- Like I could've had a princess, the queen's granddaughter. But I already had my princess, call Candice, who drove me crazy.

He lay down on the bed and took her in his arms tenderly.

Eleonor arrive to see them and she found them sleeping. She smiled and she left because the duke had invited her for dinner.
