Siena Christine

The bell rang as I jogged through the hall to my first period class, holding on to the back of my gray skirt making sure that it didn't fly up while I ran.

I was happy to have learned my way around the whole building with ease in just the couple of weeks that I had been here.

I bumped into something hard and fell to the cold tile floor with a thud sending a chill over my bare thighs.
"Shit. My fault, ma." I heard from whoever was towering over me causing me to finally look and just as I did, all of the breath I had left my body so I didn't even try to speak. I just took his outstretched hand and let him help me up off the floor.

He was gorgeous and it didn't take me long to realize that the hardness I bumped into was his abs as his sweaty gym t-shirt clung to his skin.

His beautifully caramel red tinted skin shone brightly even under the dull overhead lights of the hallway and his light brown eyes twinkled as he peered down at me. The confused look on his face pulled me out of my trance instantly.

"Sorry, what?" I asked and looked around like an idiot at the empty hall way wondering how long I had been trapped in my own thoughts. A smirk fell on his lips and he leaned against the row of dark blue lockers.

"See something you like?" He wondered as he swiped his tongue across his bottom lip.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Not anymore." I told him before walking away to my class that I was already late for.

I could hear him chuckle behind me and his feet tapping against the floor lightly as he tried to catch up to me.

"What's your name, pretty?"

"Not that." I said with not the slightest bit of interest. His arrogance was a complete turn off.

"You must be a freshman because you have no idea who I am."

I turned on my heels making him stumble a bit in the stairwell. My eyes were furrowed with confusion as I sized him up.

"Should I assume that you're new here too since you clearly don't know who the fuck I am either."

"Ooh! Look who has a potty mouth" he chuckled with his hands up in defense while he followed me up the stairs and through the doors. "I was just trying to walk you to your class. No need to get hostile." He smirked as we stood in front of the american history class that I was completely late for.

I rolled my eyes at him even though I couldn't hide the small smile that formed. That was cute, I thought as I placed my hand around the door knob to enter thinking of an appropriate excuse.

"See you around, Sienna." He winked before heading back down the stairs where he belonged.

The end of the day came quick and my new found best friend, Akeli, and I made our way to the exit slowly in no rush to get home. She and I met on the first day of class in home room, then discovered we had two other classes together, plus the same interests. We were both trying out for the cheerleading team. We clicked instantly and since I didn't have any other friends at my new school, I felt the need to tell her about my run in with who I learned to be King O'Brien. No wonder why he was so arrogant, his name was King. Her older sister went to our school as well, so I wanted to know if she had any tea to spill about him.

"Well, King is a junior and plays basketball, runs track, and also, before you make that dumb ass face." She giggled at how my eyes rolled at her statements. "He's the president of the FBLA club."
